This accurate linear temperature-controlled soldering station is compact, space-saving and modular in its design allowing you to stack sponge and accessory trays under its base safely. Both °F/°C display options are available along with quick heat-up and recovery times to deliver fast and efficient soldering every time. The 951SXe is equipped with a distinctive proprietary designed energy saving tool pod which houses the soldering iron and helps to extend the life of your tips. Maintenance and servicing are trouble free with the external calibration feature resulting in less down time and increased productivity. Built to last, this soldering station is practical, dependable and cost-efficient. The design of the tool pod saves energy and prolongs the life of the heater and tip. Because the iron rests at a constant temperature within the pod, it is ready to use the moment it is removed. The exterior of the pod remains cool to the touch even after prolonged use and excess solder is collected within its chamber as an added safety precaution Comes with a detachable space-saving sponge tray that can be stored under the station when not in use. This allows the sponge to remain damp and doesn’t require constant topping-up with water.
