Tjis tablet offers solid value for its price. The large 12.2-inch display is bright and smooth, especially when watching videos or just scrolling around. It handles everyday stuff like browsing, YouTube, and light gaming without any issues. Battery life is good too– I can get through most of the day without charging. The speakers are louder than i expected, which is nice. It doesn't feel super premium, but it's definitely good enough. Overall, it's great pick if you want a large screen tablet without spending too much.

As of this writing, this tablet is brand new to the U.S. market. It has apparently been out in Europe for a couple weeks and has only just now made its way to the U.S. This means that the accessories market has not yet caught up for it. The accessories listed on the TCL web site are not yet available here in the U.S. After using this tablet for about a week, I like it, but do not love it. There are things I like, and things I do not. PROS - Initial set-up is easy. You will spend about a half hour connecting it to your wi-fi, and to your Google account, and installing updates to the TCL firmware and Android OS. - It runs the latest version of Android (v16) - The screen is gorgeous and has a couple different options in the settings for which color gamut to use - The screen format (2400 x 1600 pixels or 3x2 ratio) is great. Pixel density is very good. - Brightness is very good also. - The 120hz refresh rate is wonderful for watching videos. I streamed The Masters golf tournament on it this weekend, and it was very smooth with no stutters. - Battery life is good. When I watched The Masters, it took 8 hours of constant streaming to get it below 20%. - 128 GB of onboard storage feels like plenty. You can add a micro SD card as well. - You have the option to give it up to 16 GB of RAM. It comes with 6 GB of RAM built-in, and you can assign it an additional 10 GB from the onboard storage (which I did). - The case is aluminum unibody and feels very sturdy. - The 4 speakers (2 on each side in Landscape mode) sound great for a tablet CONS - It takes a long time to recharge. You almost need to do it overnight if the remaining charge is close to 0%. - It will not charge with all chargers. I tried charging it with a 5W charger and it started hiccupping. It charges OK with a 10W charger. - Gestures and touches are not always recognized. Sometimes the tablet had difficulty recognizing my swipes when I was trying to open the tablet from the lock screen or open the settings or taskbar. - It's not very obvious where to find things in the Settings menu. You have to poke around a bit to find things like what Android version you have. Navigation is more intuitive on other tablets I own. - The rear camera is raised, not flush with the tablet. It's also very large. - The cameras are not particularly powerful for this price point. Only 8 MP rear and 5 MP front. In today's world, I would rate them as adequate but not great. - The volume up/down buttons are reversed from where you would expect them to be - It's only available in one color - a dark metallic blue. No silver or black. - No cases or accessories are available for it yet. No keyboard case or stylus/pen, for example. I consider this a MAJOR drawback, as I do not like to carry tablets around without a case or screen protector. - The wifi is awful. No WiFi 6. I have gigabit ethernet, and only got 262 Mbps maximum on this tablet. By contrast, I got 912 Mbps on my laptop's wifi from the same exact location (right next to my access point). NEUTRAL - There are no TCL-branded apps pre-loaded on the tablet. This could be a plus or a minus, depending on how you feel about those. I have another tablet that has some brand-specific apps that are very useful. But I also appreciate TCL for not including a bunch of bloatware (except for all the Google stuff). Overall, I like the tablet, but I think it is a little overpriced compared to other tablets that have similar features. If this tablet had better wifi and TCL's NXTPAPER screen as an option (like other TCL tablets do), I think it would be more competitive. And they definitely need to start releasing some cases, particularly a keyboard case, that fit it here in the U.S.

As a long-time iPad Pro (M4) user, I was curious to see how the TCL Tab Pro would compare. While it isn’t as powerful as a high-end Apple device, it is significantly less expensive and offers a very responsive experience for the price. Build and Design: The build quality is impressive. It is nearly as thin as my M4 iPad Pro, feels solid in the hand, and has tight seams and tactile buttons. It definitely does not feel like a budget device. Display and Performance: Even though this features TCL’s NXTPAPER technology under the hood, the top layer is a standard glossy display. The contrast is excellent for an LCD, and colors are vibrant. The Snapdragon processor is a noticeable step up from the standard TCL Tab 10. Navigating Android 16 is smooth, and I was pleased to find that the OS is relatively clean without a lot of pre-installed bloatware. Pros: Thin and premium feel comparable to much more expensive tablets. Responsive OS with modern Android 16 features. Great value for the performance level. Cons: No Wall Plug: It comes with a cable, but no charger is included in the box. I feel a wall adapter should still be standard. Limited Accessories: Since this is a newer model, third-party cases are currently hard to find. TCL advertises a keyboard attachment on their site, but it does not seem to be available for purchase yet. Final Verdict: If you are looking for a sleek, well-made Android tablet that punches above its weight in display quality and speed, this is a great choice. Just be prepared to use your own charger and wait a bit for a wider selection of specific cases.

The 8000 mAh large battery, when combined with this Android tablet, ensures excellent battery life, which makes me feel very comfortable. Without a charger on weekends when going to the library, it offers rich colors and clearer pictures, allowing smooth operation for both games and work tasks. The weight is also appropriate, making it very convenient to carry around.
