    • Sturdy desk, works as advertised. Few other frills to impress.
After promotion to a desk position at my warehouse, I knew after the first day that hunching over a laptop was going to cause frequent back and neck discomfort. Resultantly I was quick on the trigger for purchase for a standing desk solution. I was looking for something sturdy, and low effort. This does fit the bill in those categories. The push button lower raise feature, while perhaps mildly jittery in movement, will pose no threat of harm to your monitor’s stability. The keyboard shelf has impressive weight bearing as well as I sometimes find myself nearly resting against it. That said there are a couple things that jump to mind after some several weeks use. A touch more vertical travel would have been nice, especially after combination with thick anti fatigue mat. I’m not a tall man. 5’9” but with the mat at my feet I’m still slightly looking down at my 27” display at full height extension. Manageable, yes, but I find myself taking stance in forms of creative partial squats to accommodate healthy neck posture. Also cord management doesn’t appear to be a design consideration. Some manner of clips or straps would go a long way toward ensuring that no cables are strained, crimped or broken during vertical travel. Finally in the time since purchase I’ve seen many more options at lower price point. If electric push button raise/lower is an important feature for you, and you are not taller than me, or have a seated work desk with higher than average work surface level, this is a study desk, and might be right for you. But for the cost, a few other premium feature considerations would have been nice. It would have been trivial to integrate cable management as well as perhaps some other features like led keyboard light or usb charge hub and perhaps even integrated inductive coil charge platform to help justify the premium price tag. ... show more

Deck was delivered as promised. Some assembly required, to attach the keyboard tray. The predrilled holes did not line up exactly with the mounting bracket. I ended up attaching three of the four screws and working the fourth one in at an angle. Unhappy, but it appears to be working okay and supporting the tray just fine. I did need help getting it on my office desk, due to the size and weight and this was expected. I am very pleased with the desk and it functions very well. I alternate sitting and standing throughout the day. It operates great and is not noisy or disruptive to others in the office. Very happy and impressed with the desk. I have a wireless mouse and a wired keyboard. No problems with the wires during operation. But I do move the mouse up to the top surface when standing, it just feels better on the wrist and arm. Moving the wireless mouse is easy, not sure that would be the case with a wired mouse. Well worth the investment and very glad I bought The Mount It (Null model). I do not use the tablet/phone indentation. I would have preferred a total flat surface, but I work around that feature. I give it a 9 out of 10 rating. ... show more

I love this for when I'm standing. But not so much when I'm sitting. At its lowest height, it is 6" above my desktop. I'm 5'3", which means even with my chair at its highest level, I'm still looking up at my monitors. I bought this for neck pain, so I'm not sure if it is going to solve that problem, or make it worse. I can move my monitors off the riser when I'm sitting, and put them flat on my desk, but that negates the ease of the product. I'm giving it 4 stars because the motor moving it up and down is great. But I may end up returning it because this type of solution may not work for me. ... show more

    • Don't waste your money on any other standing desk

I never thought I'd be so enthusiastic about an office product. But boy - this electric standing desk is truly the best thing after sliced bread (or actually - better than even that). With a minimal investment, it has helped me convert my existing desk setup into a functional stand-up configuration. I can raise and lower the desk with the push of a button and the converter seems to have zero issues with my large heavy screen and equally large and heavy laptop. The USB port on the side is a stroke of genius. I've had two other standing desks before: one heavy-duty with clamps on the side that you had to manually pull up and down. It was difficult, clunky and twice the money of this one. Then, I had an independent electric standing desk that cost my company around $2,000 and while nice, the touch panel in the front was constantly getting tripped by accident, and you'd lose your perfect height configuration. Neither of these could touch this electric standing desk converter. Only down-sides: I wish it had more than one USB port. Two or three would be ideal. Plus, the blue light of the buttons is BRIGHT and overall pretty pointless. But otherwise - this converter is the best thing ever. ... show more

Like: * easy to assemble, although the power input was hard to find (I don't think it's mentioned in the assembly guide), so I had to fiddle with it after I placed it on the desk * very sturdy (and heavy because of that) * convenient USB power outlet, very useful to power a hub * electric! No risk of gas or abrupt movements Didn't like * probably a bit too deep; also I would have loved a cable hole, right now looks a bit messy as my monitor is pretty much on the front side ... show more

I am very glad I purchased this motor adjusted work station. It is very easy to adjust and has a handy USB port for charging my phone. I was able to install it by myself but I would suggest, as the instructions do, having two people place it on the desk because it is quite heavy. You will need to screw in the keyboard bracket mounts and attach them to the main unit. The instructions might be a little clearer, since I installed the brackets on the wrong side the first time I set it up. It is heavy duty and very sturdy. The black finish does not show water marks. The electric motor operates smoothly. The foot supports are 22 inches deep allowing it to fit on a relatively narrow desk. Five stars. ... show more
