My daughter needed a new bed for her first off-campus apartment. Scoliosis affects her quality of sleep; an adjustable bed eases her discomfort. This one fit our needs. It was reasonably priced and had the features we were looking for. Some other beds in the same price range only adjusted at the head of the bed. Several weren't really "adjustable," because they only provided a limited number of pre-set positions that could not be altered for personal comfort, or the head and foot could not be adjusted independently. This bed had the same features as higher-priced models. The box it came in was a little heavy but manageable, and was compact enough to carry up three floors via a tight stairway. Assembly was not difficult, although there was one step where confusion about the illustration briefly caused concern that parts would not line up properly. Once we realized our mistake, completion was quick and easy. I mentioned that the box was a little heavy. This was because this bed is solidly sturdy and appears well made. The 8 legs fully support the various settings and are not at all flimsy. Granted, it doesn't have the bells and whistles of a "doze digits" adjustable base, but we we didn't need them. I purchased two XL twin adjustable frames to use in our guest room. My sister and I put them together, but one was missing 4 legs. I contacted the seller and they sent the legs as quickly as possible. The beds are great, my guests slept well and loved being comfortable to watch TV.

    • This bed is not easy assembly
Do not order this bed. I don’t know how they crammed it all in one box because putting it back in if there’s a problem is difficult. I’m doing a return because of vague instructions and no parts list. I thought this might be similar to another bed I wanted but was out of stock. Nope — big mistake. Overly complicated to put together. Thankfully Amazon customer service has been understanding and helpful with the return otherwise this would be zero stars ... show more
