I have been using a more expensive, brand recognized, transfer cream for years. I have a pretty high bar to compare this product against. I honestly could not tell a difference! the gel went on well without leaving an overly greasy feel on the skin, I even applied it very liberally to test how sticky and gross it might become if accidently using too much and it dried rather well. It does have a little bit of tackiness to it if applied too liberally, but I challenge you to find ANY transfer gel that doesn't. The stencil transferred easily and dried fast. The design stayed in place for the duration of the tattoo. I do apply a very light layer of Vaseline to the stencil as I am tattooing to help keep it moisturized and to keep the ink in place and make it easier to wipe. Maybe doing that helped the product, but since I do that all the time and never tattoo WITHOUT doing that I cannot say if not doing this will allow the stencil to rub off faster than other gels.

For me I only use practice skin and learned on deodorant like most of us, and have since moved on to several brands but didn't seem to get the results I wanted. I find this one to be quite easy to use and all my stencils stuck on sharp and clean. I would order this again. Clean twist, repeated use with sanitary application and no dry out. Works. Happy. This cream helps to get better results with stencils. I found this product to work more effectively than any of the DIY methods that I found and tried from online searches. Great product. 5 stars. Explaining my rating system: 5 - a superior product - I would highly recommend 4 - above average – a great choice 3 - average – what one might generally expect 2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative 1- Horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible

I’ve been using my tattoo kit on practice skins so I thought I’d try this out to see if it helped with transferring my stencils to the skins. It worked much better than I thought it would! So easy to use and it helped give a clean transfer of my drawing to my practice skins. I’m happy with it!
