This is a really great starter kit to help learn how to work with stencils. I've had a few fake skins before, but have always free-handed so it was nice to have more options with the transfer paper and stencils to help expand my skills. The included ink colors are good basic colors. Having everything needed to protect surfaces and clean up makes it feel like I am taking the extra steps that I do not normally practice at home.

I used the fake skins to practice shading and line work, and the included stencil paper made transferring designs much easier and more precise. Everything in the kit did exactly what it was supposed to. Especially the practice skins, which felt soft and flexible, making them great for honing technique. What stood out most to me was how complete the kit is. It really has everything you need in one package, from gloves to inks to transfer supplies. The inks themselves applied smoothly and didn’t fade quickly on the practice skins, which made my practice sessions feel much more realistic. I would absolutely recommend this set to anyone starting out in tattooing or looking to sharpen their skills. It’s a solid, all in one solution.

This is a really comprehensive beginner practice kit. It has a ton of things that don’t usually come with practice skins, like stencil gel and ink cups. The one skin has practice designs stamped on and that one is pretty thin, but the others, all individually wrapped, are nice and thick. For less than $17 it’s a really good deal.

Very comprehensive as a starter practice set. Has all the accessories needed and then some. Quality of each item is ok, as in usable for practice. Maybe not the top quality items, but all usable across the board. The thin skin already has stencil printed on it, this is too thin for decent practice in my opinion. The thicker skin works great. It also wipes easier than other fake skins, but is more yellow than skin colored. Transfer solution is ok, the ink is meh, but fine for use in practice. I am surprised that this came with blue soap though, because this is not typically needed for practice. I guess they included it in the event you want to actually use it to tattoo real skin. The most interesting and less commonly seen item in the kit is the mixing solution, which is very useful for creating and working on shading. Yes, I would totally get this kit if I started off with no accessories or skin to begin with.
