Kong products are great for keeping your buddy busy. I got 12 12-week-old puppy and got one to keep her busy while I work from home. She was roaming around with it begging to make treats. Didn't tough much of the medium version sitting next to it. Do yourself a favor and order a puppy version, it is a good investment! Kong itself is great for preparing frozen treats, just seal the bottom with peanut butter, banana bit, or blueberry and fill the inside with your dog's favorite ingredients. I used goat milk kefir as a base mixed with anchovy bits, blueberry, and mango pieces. Keep in mind to keep the creamy consistency so the frozen product is not super hard to deal with for your puppy. Earlier, when I made this mistake, she did need help initially as I had to scrape things out for her to enjoy. With creamy products inside and frozen just enough, she just took it to her bed and spent long time slowly enjoying it. ... show more

We have 2 small Yorkie babies. These are just the right size. They have chewed and chewed on them and they have held up so far. The opening is small, but the small training treats fit well. You are not going to get milk bone, even the small puppy size, in the opening. But training treats fit perfect. Keep them from chewing things that should not!! This is the perfect toy to fill up with my pups food with a little peanut butter for a treat when we are leaving the house or the level she is on to keep her entertained. Freezing it makes it even hard for her to get the food out which stimulates her brain. Highly recommend!

Purchased this for an alpha, busy, busy, bossy Boston Terrier puppy. He loves it! And keeps his little butt busy! The only thing that gives me hesitation is it's small. I thought it would be a bit bigger. Especially since it states for up to 20 lbs. As puppy gets bigger, we will need another one that is a bit bigger. But the full size, commonly know Kong, will be too big for this fella. ... show more

Kong toys will outlast any heavy chewer's attempts at destroying them. Just be sure to get the right size! I had to return one because I accidentally ordered the pee wee size for my 70 pound shepherd! He could have swallowed it whole! I put peanut butter, squeeze cheese and ice cubes in it for my big guy. Exactly what a Kong is. I thought the Medium one would be a little bit bigger than what it was, but our puppy still plays with it so I can’t complain. She’s a golden retriever pup and I thought medium was a little small. (The pencil is for comparison haha)

Works great ,when I fill it up with kibble and peanut butter . Then I freeze it for 24 hours,give to the puppy he's content for hour or so. Only mistake was I should have got more than one.

This is great for my 30 pound teething puppy. He is four months old and needs to teethe. He will be entertained briefly when I put some peanut butter on the one opening and then chews on it for a long time. I don’t think he will destroy this until he gets a bit older.
