I am completely new to tattooing and ordered this kit to learn on. I am really happy with it. It comes with nearly everything I need to begin tattooing. The pen in this kit is fantastic. It is quiet and doesn't vibrate too heavily. I used it for an hour straight my first time tattooing and I only began to feel hand fatigue toward the very end. It is a very easy to use pen. Most of the controls are at the top so they are easily accessible after the pen has been wrapped. Needle depth is changed by twisting the body of the pen toward the middle. I use pen covers while tattooing so I can still change the depth without fully removing my covering by just folding down the cover half way. I like this as other pens I have looked at have controls that are hard to access when the pen is in a sleeve. I love that the set comes with a backup battery and a hard shell case. Little details like that really sell this set for me. I also love that it comes with both 1203RL and 1211RM. Most kits I have looked at only include round liners and it is fun to have some magnums to play with. I think this is a fantastic set. I'm really happy with the tattoo pen. It is quiet and the vibration didn't lead to too much hand fatigue for me, even my very first time tattooing. I think everything that went into this kit was done with a lot of thought and consideration to offering something that will be both useful and exciting to a beginner.

This is a really nice tattoo gun kit from Solong. This would be a great starter kit for anyone just getting into tattooing, and the gun works well enough to impress even experienced artists. It comes packed in a nice hard carrying case that is perfect for taking this one on the go, and it has all the basic supplies you need to get started The gun has a nice thick body with a bumpy head that helps to get a good grip. It has a nice weight to it, and it just feels solidly built. It comes with 2 1500 mAh batteries for wireless operation. It's nice to have the back up battery so you can always have a charged battery on standby. It operates at a range of 4-12 volts. It has a really smooth and quiet operation even when going to the higher voltages. I am impressed at how light the vibration is which makes it easy to do really nice work Included in the kit are 40 needles, a box of 1203 RL and a box of 1211 RM. The needles hold ink well with consistent performance and clean lines. Other supplies include fake skins that aren't the best, but they work ok as a way to get some good practice in. There is also some transfer paper, ink cups, gloves, grip tape, and a 30 ml bottle of black ink Overall I am impressed with the performance of this one, and I would highly recommend this for new artists as a starting point to learn the craft as well as pros who want to pick up an extra set

I am amazed at all the items that are in this set from SoLomg Tattoo. Everything from the 2x- 1cm skins, 6x- pieces of tattoo printer paper, gray table covers, 1x - 1 oz black tattoo ink, mini ink cups, gripper tape, 20x - 1211RM size needles, and 20x - 1203RL size needles as well as a pair of black gloves, a battery operated tattoo gun and two batteries along with a USB to USBc cord for charging and a hard case to keep everything together. This is a high end set but made for the beginner that doesn’t have much if anything to get started. We are just getting our feet wet with all these amazing items. What I can say is everything has functioned the way the online videos showed things working and my niece and I are having a blast experimenting with the skins, needles, black ink in this set, ( and a set of colored inks we bought too ) , ink cups and are planning to try out the printer paper in the new tattoo printer Monday when it gets here from Amazon. I am not the best person to judge the detailed aspects of this set but I do know it feels good and operates as expected. We are both very pleased with the results we have achieved so far. We are rating this tattoo gun, battery and starter set from SoLong Tattoo 5 Stars. I hope my thoughts, opinions and photos help someone decide if they want to attempt the art of tattooing.

This set has everything you could need to start tattooing, even an extra battery and fake skin. I like that it all came in a nice hard case to keep it all in one place. The tattoo pen itself is small but has a bit of weight to it. I like that it's cordless, well made and has an LED screen that's easy to read and tells you the current voltage level, how much power is left, and says "WELCOME" and "GOODBYE" when you turn it off and on (a cute touch). I like how easy it is to switch between the 7 stroke lengths by twisting the pen. It also came fully charged so I followed the directions on how to set it up and tried it out right away, on fake skin of course. I bought an extra set of 3mm fake skin to use with the tattoo pen since no one wanted me to test it out on them lol. Definitely a fun set that has everything you need to test your hand at tattooing.

Not long ago, I picked up this decent little starter tattoo kit. While I wouldn’t say it’s a top-of-the-line rotary machine, it does offer a modern alternative at a really great price point. The kit comes with a lot of needles power supply, and the basics of what you need to get started. You will need to buy all of your soap and bottles, and all of the rest of your accessories needed, including sheets of practice skin, but this is a great way to get into Tattooing practice. Overall, it’s an inexpensive priced kit, and a good way to start
