The media could not be loaded. I was very skeptical about buying a barbell on Amazon because rogue barbells have been back ordered a while due to the holidays. After doing reviews the games barbell is very similar to The Bella bar from rogue. The bar seems to be packaged well and the thick tube in a plastic bag with the soft end peice before the cap, but the bar was all the way through both ends of the rubber piece and one end had some chipped metal. This bar Has the cerakote coating.. yet during day two breaking in my bar I see the pink paint wearing away already. I havnt even done squats but between the knurling is smudging. Some of the black paint on the rings after opening from the package was scratched away. I was not about to return it for something so small cosmetically. There was a lot of oil in the bar not just the ends but the whole bar. Wasn't too big a deal just wiped it off with some cleaner. It was quite a pain to open this since I had no idea how. But this bar has amazing spin, I love the width, and so far so good using it for two days now. I am taking Olympic lifting classes. So this bar has a lot of pros but for $300 and the paint chipping before day one of using is iffy to me. It's supposed to be rust free and last a long time so not sure why the paint is already coming off. But she's a beauty and people compliment me on my bar and love the spin on it. This bar is fantastic. Aside from the fact that it looks awesome -- it doesn't rust! My home gym is in the garage, so there is some moisture from time to time -- this bar hasn't shown the first sign of rust. I can load it up with as many plates as I want, and it never warps. It's rated for 1500lbs -- I'll never see that much weight, but it doesn't even flinch at the 600lbs I put on it. It looks great It functions perfectly It's a beast of a bar Buy this bar.. right now... seriously. If you were on the edge, or not sure if this bar is right for you -- trust me, just buy it. You won't be disappointed. BONUS: The packaging is unreal. I've bought bars before and they usually come in a banged up paper tube with the ends falling off and your bar bouncing around. This one came in a super thick tube, and they put 4 screws into the thick plastic end caps to make sure they were secure. The bar was also wrapped up nicely, and in perfect shape. They even threw in some wrist wraps. *** UPDATE *** I've had this bar for a while now, and it's gotten tons of use. The only con I've found is that I don't have one in each color! ... show more

    • The best spin I have ever seen.

The media could not be loaded. I have owned and used several barbells, some new and some cheap, some with bearings and some with bushings, but nothing has ever had such a smooth and fast spin for under $300. The bar came in some heavy-duty packaging, quarter-inch thick cardboard tubing with 2-inch rubber end caps that were screwed in. It took me a screwdriver, hammer, and 5 minutes to remove an end cap. When I pulled the bar out of the tubing, I found a thick blue plastic bag covered the entire bar. Attached to the bag were wrist wraps and a signed card ensuring the quality of the bar and who built it. The bar is heavy-duty; according to synergee, it has 190k tensile strength, about 1500lbs of weight. While I don't know if it can quite do that much, I put about 565lbs of plates on it to test, and there was almost no bend whatsoever. The cerakote finish is attractive and durable. However, some other reviewers have commented on how the cerakote finish is being worn away. A few reviewers even wiped the bar with a towel leaving the towel stained red. This is misleading, I rubbed my bar down with a paper towel as well, and it did turn red; however, this isn't the cerakote finish being wiped away. Instead, it's the excess oil on the bar that has been discolored. There is also a misconception that people think this bar is rustproof; nothing is genuinely rustproof; sure, it is rust-resistant and won't rust easily, that doesn't mean you shouldn't take care of it. Neglect of cleaning and oiling will lead to a shorter life for any bar; skin, dust, chalk, water, grime, and dirt collect in the bar's knurling and even inside the sleeves. ... show more

Very poor packaging, bar arrived scratched up & damaged on the ends. I decided to repair it myself rather than wait for a return. The red cerakote is thin and not even. Bar does function well, smooth bearings as well. Worth the money. Dont expect Rogue quality at this price though. Update 1/26/2020- The Seller contacted me and made a great effort to resolve the issue after reading my review. I did not contact them. They DO read reviews and want their customers happy with their products. So this was a better experience after all. At least they WANT to repair this issue. Hope this helps someone. ... show more

    • Way too thin to be useful

Mine came with dents, dings, and metal burrs in one end of the bar (which ripped a hole in my shorts by the way), so I returned it. But, the main problem is that the grip section of the bar is SUPER thin. Now, I'm 6'6" and have big hands, but this bar is so small in diameter it almost feels like it's cutting into your hands. It hurts. I wouldn't rate it low except that my wife, who is 5'4" with small hands, says the same thing. On top of it hurting, it's too small to safely and easily roll it during some lifts, mainly olympic and other dynamic moves. I really like how it's shorter for small spaces, but they need to figure out a way to increase the girth of this baby, because as it is now, it's unusable for most lifts in my opinion. ... show more

The way it came packaged was impressive. You can tell they have thought about it, which is good. The bar itself is not as red as the picture shows. It's more a deeper burgundy but that's not picking. It's a beautiful color non the less. I really am glad this was the bar I picked to start my home gym with, it is a great value for the money. Going to get the same womens bar for my fiancee when I'm able to. Really cant say enough good things about it. Not the best bar in the world by far, but for under 300, I can see myself using this bar for a long time to come. ... show more
