This is an awesome starter kit for someone new to tattoo art. It has everything you'd need to practice. For a more complete kit, you might want to add design stencils and other practice ink colors, but those aren't necessary. You will absolutely want to get some higher-quality tattoo ink before you try working on real skin, though, but the ink provided is fine for use on the included practice skins. I absolutely love the high-capacity rechargeable battery! It's so great to be able to work for an extended period without needing to recharge or change batteries. The paper manual included is also very welcome, as I'm old school and prefer a manual that doesn't require electricity to read. The only downside for me is that the pen is a tinsy bit top-heavy for me with my small hands, but that probably wouldn't be an issue for most people, as it's pretty well balanced. ... show more

This little kit has everything you'd need to get started, and the price is reasonable enough its worth buying just to see if tattooing is the hobby for you. The needles are all in individual sealed packages and they are easy to connect to the machine. I've never used a tattoo machine before but I found this one really easy to figure out. Plus it comes with a whole instruction book that helps. the amount of included ink is ample and there are even little cups to hold it. The fake skin was my favorite part, it really does have a lifelike texture and movement. It's been really fun practicing on those and I like being able to see how each needle and setting performs before "going live" with it, as it were. The machine itself is easy to handle with minimal vibrations, I've been getting some really straight lines. I expected more of a learning curve but I almost feel like a natural with this kit, as it makes everything so easy. Fast charging and the battery holds up for quite a while. I don't know how a professional would feel but as a beginner I find this device really encouraging and I'm excited to try more. A+ on all notes! ... show more

I'm an artist trying to get more into tattooing. I got a basic manual tattoo kit a while ago and found it extremely difficult to use. Manually putting down dot after done and seeing a ton of bleedthroughs. The tattoo kit is perfectttttt! I have only tried fake skin so far (and oranges) as I'm not confident enough to actually do it on someone's arm, but wowwwww I absolutely loe how easy this makes things and how good the quality is. This kit comes with an extra quantity of needles for many uses and allows for many practice sessions. The wireless pen is light weight and easy to hold/control. I’ve been tattooing for a few years now, mostly small to medium custom pieces, and I picked up this kit as a backup machine. It’s ended up getting way more use than I expected. The first thing I noticed was the battery life. The 2300mAh battery easily gets me through most sessions without needing a recharge. Depending on what voltage I’m running, I usually get around 6–8 hours. Not having a cord makes a bigger difference than you’d think. No snagging, no adjusting clip cords, and it just feels cleaner and more comfortable to work with. The weight is balanced too, not overly top-heavy like some wireless pens can be. The 7 adjustable voltage settings are simple but effective. I’ve used the lower settings for softer shading and bumped it up for lining, and it handles both without struggling. The motor feels steady and consistent. I haven’t had issues with stalling or overheating, even during longer sessions. The two working modes are a nice bonus. Switching between them is straightforward, and it’s helpful when you’re moving from lining to packing color in the same piece. It’s not overly complicated, which I appreciate. In terms of feel, it runs fairly quiet and with low vibration. My clients have commented that it feels smoother compared to some traditional rotary machines. The grip is comfortable enough for longer sessions, and my hand doesn’t feel as fatigued as it does with some heavier machines. The kit comes with 20 needles and transfer paper, which makes it a solid starter option. The included needles are fine for practice or smaller pieces, but for detailed client work I still prefer my usual cartridge brands.     • Not bad tattoo pen kit
This is a not bad tattoo pen kit. The tattoo pen is nice. It has a good weight to it. The pen is a decent size as far as the diameter goes. This pen has a nice battery display which show voltage, frequency as well as other settings including a timer. There is also a snapping stroke control dial on this tattoo pen. The battery is detachable but there is only one in the kit. There is a initial surge at the beginning of the pen but then it is smooth and consistent. The vibration is also rather light and manageable. The other supplies are your standard fair and nothing too special. There is a set of gloves but I never use the ones that comes in these kits as they are too thin. There is a bag full of small ink holders as well as some grip tape. There is an ink that cones with this kit but I would only use it on practice skins. Use higher quality inks for actual skin. The is one fake skin that seems like it's 1mm thick and some transfer paper. There is also a box of needle cartridges. The tattoo pen itself seems to be quality with nice features. Will see how well this holds up over time. Will update if anything happens. ... show more
