I've been learning to tattoo as a hobby and recently advanced to tattooing my husband. After making many attempts to get us both in comfortable positions, I realized I needed something to better position us both. I saw this armrest and thought it was an affordable option to try. The armrest arrives broken down but is simple to build with the included instructions. The pieces have a cheap feel to them, which is reflective of the price point. Once built, it feels very sturdy and features three knobs for adjustment. You can raise and lower it and can tilt the padded rest to get the best alignment for your needs. Once tightened, everything is very secure and doesn't accidentally slip which is extremely important when you're tattooing. It comes with an additional tray that can be placed on the rod or removed. I'm not sure what exactly this will be best used for, but it's too small to use as your setup area. It's also cheap plastic and I'm not sure I would trust it with anything that might spill. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this armrest. It's comfortable for both the person tattooing and being tattooed, and the adjustability is great. The quality isn't amazing, but since I'm just doing this as a hobby I don't have to worry about client after client and it's good enough for my needs.

The media could not be loaded. Apparently, this product had already been sent to someone else, because it comes incomplete and semi-assembled. It does not bring the base to fix the cross base and does not bring the screws or nuts. How am I supposed to assemble it?

Ok so by no means am I saying this is a terrible product because its not for what it is it is pretty decent it has mutiple positions a little shelf to hold other items and can hold an arm in place. But for the price you could get a better built arm rest. This ones base is made of plastic including the shelf which means instead of bending if you put something too heavy it will crack or break instead. I say for the price there better options, but if your still wanting it its still a nice product.

This review is for an armrest that could be used for the tattooing process or perhaps even henna. The unit is sturdy and is not on wheels. It has a telescoping pole so height is adjustable. There is a nice small tray off to the side, which is large enough to hold your tattoo inks that you’re using and what not. Because this is a lightweight tray, I would only trust ink on it. I would not put the tattoo machine resting on it only because it would be too heavy in weight and I just don’t know what could happen if you placed a heavy amount of weight there. I would not want my ink to spill. The pad is covered by leather, and it is big enough for an arm or even a leg to rest on. The top section that it is mounted to rotates around freely. This is why I gave it four stars because I feel that it should lock into place instead of being able to rotate freely. It is easy to assemble and disassemble.

While there are many great features about that this armrest possesses, I am stuck on one point. Stand is a very nice design, and with the oval tube base, it's a bit more contemporary looking than many others. It is fully adjustable, and has a rather large pad for an armrest of this type. It also features a nice, big clamp-on tool tray, which is plastic, but much larger than others I have seen. The problem I see with this stand is that they have cut half the depth of the base tubes, in order to fit them together for the base. This, plus the fact that they're aluminum makes me wonder if they'll survive in the long run. It just doesn't seem to me that this particular stand, or at least the design of the base, is designed for longevity. I think it's a decent value for the price, but in a busy shop where it gets moved around a good deal, I'm not so sure it's durable enough.
