    • Not bad - for smaller pools
This is my first pool robot, after having used my friends the past few years. This vacuum is on the smaller side. It cleans my 18' round pool in about 40 mins with ease. The way this unit works is it sucks the water in from the bottom, which then goes through a mesh filter, and exits out the top jets. It goes in one direction, hits an obstruction, and goes in the opposite direction. Its direction is random, and eventually it covers the whole pool. When the screen on the bottom fills, the vacuum will not be able to draw enough water for the jets to move and eventually it gets stuck or stops moving. The key is simply to make sure the unit is clean. Duh. The first time i used it to clean my pool, i had to clean the unit 3x before it was finished. Once that was done, i can drop it in every other day and it does a great job with only one filter cleaning. No issue with charge time so far, and battery seems to be common small SLA which can be replaced when it eventually dies. So remember this is a smaller pool vacuum, which can require multiple filter cleanings initially depending on how dirty your pool is. ... show more

I have a good size pool, but failed to read the complete description of this vac. I had to return it because it didnโ€™t meet our needs for the pool.

    • It doesn't scrub well
Granted, this was my first robotic pool cleaner trial. It definitely picked up debris, but it did not scrub well - the brush is very fine and flimsy. Also, the run time is about 60 minutes effectively. Would upgrade to a dolphin or equivalent if going to invest in a pool cleaner. I have an outdoor inground pool without a cover - so a lot of debris gets in my pool. ... show more

    • Doesnโ€™t work for long
This was great at first. It picked up so much and the mesh screen has very small holes to catch even teeny particles. After 3 weeks (used it 3 times a week at the point) it would go for a foot or two then get stuck. I was telling everyone how great it was because it really really was at first. The other one we had always dropped debris right back in when we retrieved it. This one did not have that problem. It doesnโ€™t have the power it had at first and we have wrinkles on our floor so it needs to be able to go over them. It did fine with the wrinkles at first but now it doesnโ€™t work at all so we wasted $200. Itโ€™s past the return date. ... show more

    • Worked really great for about 6 weeks
We used this robotic pool vac for a 22' round above ground pool. It worked really well for 6 wks then it would go really well in one direction turn and just sit in that spot. We quit trying to use it. So disappointed in the durability of the product.

    • Poor suction
I have a $35 pool vacuum that attaches to our garden hose. It works 100x better than this vacuum did. This vacuum went under water and ran, but when I would check it after it running in the pool for a long time, it would collect a couple pieces of debris.

    • Only for flat bottom pools
If you have any sort of pitch in your pool, this will not work for you. I knew that it said it did not climb walls, but I figured it would be able to move around the bottom of my pool. My pool is 36โ€™ long and goes from 3 to 5 feet. Once the vacuum gets to the 5 foot side, it cannot climb back up to the 3 foot side. Pretty useless for me ... show more
