This is by far the worst amp I ever bought not only does it not put out true power but it also only worked for 5 minutes then went to protect mode and hasn’t turned on since I’ve had 2 people I know buy taramps and they have also had similar issues like going into protect and then not working again or one even catching on fire almost burning his truck down amp wasn’t even being used when this happened it was just sitting not even powered on if I could leave lower than 1 star review I definitely would

These are very good products and especially for the price. People must do their research and do not take anyone else’s review seriously. It is very easy to cause damage or loss due to user error. Amplifiers need proper gage wire, insulation, connection, proper consistent voltage and reserve current from the vehicle electrical system. Inadequate voltage and clipped or dirty input signal can cause damage or failure of speakers and amplifiers. They are designed to function within the limits set in the manual, great care must be exercised when setting the gains and crossover points, matching impedances, connecting power, ground and remote as well as speakers. Touching the screwdriver to the chassis when securing speaker terminals is how you blow the amp, not just the remote or power terminal. Always connect power last after everything else has been properly connected and secured!! Not ground!!! Also proper fuses and circuit breakers must be installed within 6-12” from the battery positive post! Not at the amplifier or negative post! Proper supply current or battery banks must be used in conjunction when running any amplifier over 1000-1200 watts rms! One regular battery is not enough and will cause severe voltage drops and will lead to clipping potential damage to speakers and amplifiers. As well as possible damage to the vehicle alternator. People please do the research before you get involved and wind up over your head. Do not assume that the product is bad before user error is eliminated. Count on 99% of people to never admitting to screwing up the installation or falling short on the minimum requirements. Most people will not even realize they are in default for the minimum requirements.
