I have been a Bondi girl for a while now, but decided just to try something new. This is a great sister product and I now prefer it for a couple of reasons. 1. It’s clear! No staining brown foam all over my bathroom, towels, sheets, and clothes. 2. Much better smell! This product has a more subtle, fresh smell. You can still recognize the self tanning odor, but not nearly as strong as other brands I have used. This foam gives a progressive, subtle tan without the streaks or bronzer that washes off in the shower. 10/10 recommend. ... show more

Tanologist Express Dark Self Tanning Mousse surprised me with it's color. It looked more natural than I had expected. Mousse is usually complicated to apply--more often than not, the color looks completely unnatural and always has an orange tint that gives it away as "fake", it streaks, it doesn't last very long, or it simply washes off or transfers too easily. Tanologist is a great value for a self tanner because as similar products that have a more natural color are twice the price of this so for the price, it really works out as great. As long as you have the right mitt to apply it, it's pretty easy and doesn't streak or look too orange, depending on your natural skin tone. When you self-tan at home with sunless tanners, you must base your product (its intensity or darkness) on your natural skin tone, either pale, medium, or olive. If you are pale/fair skin toned with natural red or blonde hair, don't go too deep, it will show up orange on you. If you are medium skin toned, with natural darker hues of hair color, you can go a bit deeper depending upon how your natural skin tone is from medium to dark. If you try to go too dark and your skin tone and natural hair color are light, then it will show up orange and you'll need to rinse and reapply, but don't leave it on too long. I like the color and I like that it lasts longer than 2 or 3 days. It transfers, but no more than any other sunless tanning mousse. Make sure you have the right applicator mitt because it does matter. Your sunless tanner form of mousse, water, drops, or lotion will be dependant upon the applicator mitt and it's material. Velvet is good, but with foam or mousse, get the sponge-like material mitts because they spread more evenly without streaking. Wear gloves underneath your mitt and wash your hands ASAP after applying. ... show more

I literally cancelled my $120 a month unlimited spray tan booth membership and my local spa! This stuff is that good. I have spray tanned and home bottle tanned for YEARS and tried them all! This one is so good, looks better in color, lasts longer and doesn’t really smell too much like fake tan. I spray mine on extending my arms and legs over the tub with a continuous spray mister bottle that you can get for like $10. After that I blow dry myself to help it dry. I have literally mimicked the spray tan booth and the solution using this method. I’m about to save so much money and don’t have to leave the house! Fave sunless tanning product, period and I've tried dozens. Gorgeous, natural looking color. I prefer this to the pro spray tan booth now bc I can do my feet better than it does and get darker/ better results with repeat applications. I usually do 2 coats with a good mitt, with 30-60 minute drying time in between, and dha block lotion on knees/ elbows. Does feel a bit sticky until it dries and takes longer to dry but the final result is worth it. Clear/ no guide color may not be for newbies but doesn't stain my towels, clothes or sheets. Pros It doesn’t have as nasty of a fake tan smell It has a nice glow to it It’s a really even application no streaks Cons It has no guiding color so if you miss a spot you don’t know until it’s developed It is not that dark I bought the darkest one and it is like a medium tan from st tropez I had to use ALOT of product after just one use the liquid was down like almost an inch.
