I’ve bought this product several times from this seller and at the drugstore. I have always loved it but the last bottle I received is different. In the past, I got a nice brown even coverage. Not too dark, but very nice. I always apply with a mitt carefully with lots of rubbing in all directions to blend. I have applied it dozens of times with great results. People would comment on my natural looking tan. With this latest bottle, the color is orangey and the application is patchy. At first, I thought I had applied it sloppily but after carefully reapplying, I’m not getting the results I have gotten in the past. The viscosity feels different and the gel isn’t completely clear in the bottle. I wonder if I got a spoiled bottle or if the formula has been changed. Either way, I may have to shower and exfoliate quickly before work!! Eek!!😬 ... show more

I applied the tanner 6 hours before going to bed. My skin was completely dry and I could see the tan developing, so I was super happy. When I woke up in the morning I had a lot of stains and sheet marks all over my body, very disappointing. I haven't tried to wash the product before going to bed, but this was not being mentioned anywhere in the instructions. The application process is amazing, the gel slides through the skin easily so it's the fastest application i've ever seen, so i hope the brand will fix this problem. I have been taning for a long time now always trying to use good products that give you a more natural glow. Came accross this gel and thought it could be great as the reviews were great. Pros: smells nice, dries quickly and not sticky Cons: streaky (applied with hand one time and with glive a second time), ORANGE TONE, since it is clear you cant tell spots you have missed. So first of all it’s patchy asf around my hands and arms. It’s also a little orange but the color is not that bad. If you’re going to use it (you shouldn’t) then just wear your underwear and bra for like 30 min or put loose clothing over. My legs look great, but my arms are very patchy because I put a sweatshirt on right after it dried and it soaked it up in some spots or something. You also can’t do anything with your hands for a little which so just chill and watch tv or something. Anyways, now for the serious stuff. This stuff says it has “100% natural DHA”. Great, but it’s still harmful for your skin. I looked up the side effects of it after I developed a throbbing headache and nausea, and sure enough it was due to the DHA. I put this stuff on about 24 hrs ago and I’m not feeling any better. Also, DHA reacts with your amino acids and generates free radicals that destroy collagen. It also damages your cells, which could cause cancer. It is FDA approved if only 10% or less of the product is DHA, but they should still put warnings about this stuff on the labels. Search up DHA and read about it before you use it, and if you’re ok with putting that on your largest organ, then go for it. As long as you just wear a tank top after and are careful around your wrists and ankles it will look great. ... show more

This product is awful. The end result is dark orange, is streaky and settled in awfully to every line of my skin. My ankles and feet look absolutely crazy. Not to mention it transfers really bad so now because I had my inner arm on my thigh at some point, I know have a bright orange splotch on my arm too. I did all of the skin prep beforehand and have never had such orange results. I’ve had other tanners look unnatural before, but this isn’t even trying to be brown. The pictures don’t even show how bad it looks. The smell is like watermelon four loko while applying but does turn to the typical tanner smell btw. The worst part is I tried to start a return because I think the product is misleading (insanely dark does not = orange) and it just didn’t work well, and they’re claiming they’ll charge me a fee if the product is open/used. How else would I know the product isn’t good? Of course I’m going on vacation in two days so I love this for me ... show more
