    • Ok while it lasted (not very long)
The design of this applicator is nice and I like that it locks into an open position. I found myself using the blue sponge side more than the black side, but the blue sponge is a bit too small and fell off after about 3-5 uses (and cannot be reattached). Obviously not very durable.

    • It's Okay
First, and probably most important is, I still cannot access my entire back with this device. It's probably on me for getting older and less limber but it is advertised as assisting with back application. The first use went very smoothly despite my reach problems. I waited a little over a week to use it again and while cleaning the pad, I noticed the material separating from the pad. Granted, it includes two replacement pads, but if you have to replace them after two uses, I sure can't see this endeavor lasting very long. (And yes, I thoroughly cleaned and rinsed the pad after the first use and air-dried as recommended). The overall design is very good and seems sturdy.     • WASTE OF MONEY
I love my Bondi Sands SELf tanners, I purchased this thinking how great the design is and so much easier then trying to get the hard spots to reach. Do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The fabric is not very absorbent it doesn’t hold enough product, it does not glide easily, it was so much harder to get it even then my regular mitt... I also purchased one of their mitts and it’s the WORST! Again it does not hold much product to the point the fabric is almost slippery and the foam was not adhering and sliding on the floor etc... unfortunately for such excellent tanning products they really need to step it up with these designs! I would have returned it but used it once yesterday... perhaps it will work to apply body lotion to the back and not just end up in the trash ... show more

    • Wouldn't repurchase
It's a great idea, but it's not strong enough to handle the pressure needed to fully rub in tanning mousse. I have not tried it with lotion-type products. I also think it needs to be a few inches longer to completely be effective.

I self tan from Bondi Sands, and this is what the back paddle does for you so you can reach her back and you don’t have to have somebody else do it for you would be a rep purchase if need be
