I'm eagerly awaiting this package arrival. I will add. I canceled my prime a few months ago. So the arrival date seemed awesome until I seen it reached my distribution center and then left again to another state to only return two days later. This crap is exactly why I canceled my prime. So now the box is here. When I picked up the box the first thing I noticed is the clunking of the box inside of a box. My daughter chuckled (ex Amazon warehouse employee) I open the Amazon labeled box to find a much smaller manufacturer box with only a sliver of packaging paper.... I now know why my daughter chuckled.....opened the manufacturer box and all looks good but I'm still concerned about how this unit was bounced around as internally this is electronic and mechanical. Oh. And gas. The fist thing I see ontop once open is that dreaded little black and white instruction book. You just know its not gonna be what you need .. lol. Time for another beer. Yep. As you can see in the pictures it starts of ohhhh so great. Yes folks. No true installation instructions. Just some key safety points. I'm a mechanical kinda person so i understand the basics on how this thing works. Hooking up the gas and water is standard to me so that should go well but not everyone is like this. With these instructions, this is a major problem..... so with these dreaded little black and white instruction books there is usually and web link to other instructions. Sometimes better and some times nothing more then digital copies of this freaking little black and white book..... well.... nowhere is there a link in the little 5page manual for a gas hot water heater. Nowhere does it mention the on and off switch. Nowhere does it mention what all the dials do or how to work them. Can anybody else understand my concern at this point???? I will gladly finish this review once I do a test run... I will add a video then. At this exact point I'm going with 3 stars ... show more

I'm using it for my washing machine in the shop. Once I got all the settings right it's working great. Had to buy adapters, though, to hook up garden style hoses to it. It came with threads like a hand shower uses.

This is my third propane water heater. First two were purchased from a different manufacturer for $300. Both of them worked for one day and had to be returned. This one was half the price and works every day. Endless hot water

This is a new product that didn't have any reviews when I ordered it. Thought I'd give buyers something to think about it. I bought this heater for my horse barn. Arrived timely. Nice packaging. Unit could a little more sturdy but it's OK. Hooking up is wonky until you know what you need. I'll save you the frustration and tell you (if using a garden hose) to order a 3/4 female to 1/2 female adapter. Order it when you order heater. Also... the shower hose is kind of short. But works. The unit also needs two D batteries. The compartment thar they go in is also a little wonky unless mine didn't come with the right screw. I found one that works. Once it was hooked up and kinds were ironed out... it fired up and I had excellent flow of hot water. I've only used it a few times. But pleased with its performance. Can't be the price for size and GPM. ... show more

For the price I paid for the unit it performs above and beyond. Once you get your flow knob setting just right and the temp setting perfect your in there like swim wear as long as water is flowing through the unit. Provides hot enough water to scald you the digital read out said 175°F when I did a test run after hooking it up to a water hose and propane tank. It wasn't wrong either that water was HOT. Things you will need to buy A thread adapter for the half inch threaded water inlet coupling that allows you to screw in your hose 2 D batteries 20lb propane tank Lastly even though it comes with a shower wand and hose already it would be better to go ahead and upgrade to something a little more durable and nicer than than the plastic ones included So all and all I'm satisfied with this product and its versatility in multiple applications where on demand endless hot water is needed ... show more

If this thing last two years it would have been worth it. But we use it a lot. I marked on the dial at different temperature settings and it stayed consistent as long as you keep the same pressure going in. Wife loves it and it cost less than the 2 electric 120volt ones that I bought at first. Wish I would have gotten this to begin with. Plenty of hot water to fill a garden tub without kicking off and it will be way to hot to get in if you have it up all the way. I don’t have full city water pressure to it but it runs 138 degrees turned up all the way. Great product and I think it will last if I keep it flushed out. We will see but I bet I’ll buy another one when this one quits. Don’t look any further if you want steady and plenty of hot water with out any wait.. 😀😀😀👍👍 ... show more
