This is a beautiful table and eight chairs. Both the table and the chairs are sturdy and both have leveling screws on the bottom. I had a defective piece (Part C - railing on long side of table); the braiding was on the wrong side. I have contacted the seller and am confident they will replace the one piece. I will write a follow-up if the issue is not resolved. In the pictures by the manufacturer, the cushions look white or cream but they are tan/beige. There are no back cushions with the set. While it's true you can stack two chairs, you can't stack additional chairs. As noted in some reviews, the slats on the wooden top have a small space between them, so stuff (spills, playing cards, etc.) can fall through. There is also no hole for an umbrella but we wanted an off-set umbrella anyway. I don't believe anyone else mentioned that the chairs do slide all the way under the table. (I couldn't tell by the pictures and I really wanted the chair arms to slide all the way under the table.) We use two chairs off to the side with a separately-purchased small table between them since we don't often have eight people but love that we have the capacity if we need it. If the three chairs are on each side, it's a pretty tight fit with a propensity for guests to smash fingers with the next chair scooting up and pushing back from the table. We bought the cover by the same manufacturer and it fits beautifully and seems heavy-duty enough. I have put together a ton of furniture and this was, by far, the hardest. The table isn't too bad, but the chairs are a pain. Not only do you need a rubber mallet as others have suggested, don't rely on the cheap plastic ratchet they provide to last for the whole job. It's difficult to use your own electric screwdriver with a Allen wrench (hex) bit because the screws are close to the underside webbing and you can't maneuver the electric screwdriver to drive the screws in straight. The best tip to assemble the chairs is to get each screw to bite just enough to hold until you get all eight screws in. Then it's a lot of old-fashioned hand cranking with a manual Allen wrench. It seemed like on every chair there was one hole that didn't line up well, thus the rubber mallet to bang the thing in place. In two instances of the 64 screw holes, I had to drill metal screws in just above the hole because there was no amount of banging, wrenching, or cursing that was going to get the holes to line up enough to get the provided screw to bite. The table was pretty quick and easy to assemble. The chairs take quite a bit of time there are 8 screws per chair but they do provide a tightening tool that was extremely helpful. Overall, it took my husband and I a few hours to assemble but we are extremely pleased with the results and the set seems high quality. Great product for the price. Looks like it will hold up for awhile . Very elegant addition to our backyard. I purchased 2 colorful pillows for the end chairs to add a little bit more detail to the piece. ... show more

I want to start with the star rating is based on the actual product and if I had to rate this based on the experience I had it would be zero stars. Prime shipment is not really a thing for this company apparently. They have an expected by date and an a month later you are still asked for "more time and to be patient" The set arrives in 4 boxes as others have stated and they arrive over several days except in my case where one of the 4 arrives damaged and another just doesn't arrive at all. Lets talk about the set- its beautiful. Its exactly what I wanted and worth the wait and hassle plus the repairs I had to make. Its compact enough for a smaller space but large enough to host 8 comfortably. Its sturdy and comfortable even for larger people. It comes with the seat cushions but not the pillows. I found this set is definitely worth the price. Assembly- it does take time, lots of time. You also need additional tools. I like the quality but I needed a hammer to fix dented areas, I needed a hot glue gun to glue back on some wicker areas that were broken. You will need imagination on how to get it properly assembled because nothing really lines up right but if you are the slightest bit handy you can make it work. It took an entire day just to put the chairs together myself. It took about an hour to assemble the table alone. A drill is also required. The box that arrived damaged left me with 2 unusable chairs as the feet were broken off of three panels and the arm rest was broken off another. The company did refund me some money for this problem or offer to "attempt" to resend broken parts. I was able to buy my own parts and fix the two broken chairs so I was happy with this solution even though it was not ideal. The missing box- contained the entire table. So I had the chairs fixed and assembled and the last box just said "label created" for weeks. Finally they agreed to ship a replacement box and asked that I wait another 15 days. They ask that you keep waiting every time you email them BTW. I waited. Then they finally provided a second shipping label which again said label created and never actually make it to Fedex. That second box to this day never made it into fedex hands. Fedex finally called and said they had a box that was undelivered and come to find out it was the original box sent out over a month ago. I cleared up the issue with Fedex and they delivered it the next day. Again, I had to repair the table parts. Hot gluing the broken wicker and using my hammer to open up the ends that are supposed to slide into each other. This was an absolutely terrible customer service experience and their last email to me said "we are short handed and have no one working in our warehouse" in my opinion if you cant fulfill your order you should not be selling. Even with the customer service experience I would buy this again to get the product that I ultimately ended up with. The rug I used under is 12x9 ... show more

This is not an easy assemble at all. The directions are clear but a mallet is needed to line up the holes, and even then, it’s a multi person job. Maybe that’s why four Allen wrenches are included? Either way, an electric screwdriver with a Allen wrench bit is essential. Materials of the bolts are not very good so they were very easily stripped. Stronger material on the bolts will help counteract the misalignment of the pieces. In total we spent about three hours with four people coming in and out assembly line style.
