I put this together by myself, and it turned out great. It did take a good hour or two, but not because it was confusing, or difficult. It just has quite a few pieces to put together. It is heavy, but to me, that's a sign of quality. If it were light and easily movable, then I'd question the quality – it's certainly sturdy, and was definitely worth the assembly time. It looks great in the space. The books all fit neatly on it (ours is currently a mess), the sound bar fits great at the top, as does the xbox one. The fireplace is basically a space heater, but it's nice and keeps the space warm on colder days when we want to sit on the sofa, watch tv and sip on coffee with the heater on.

The decision to take a chance on this fireplace was by far a perfect fit. The boxes arrived safely and all pieces were packed to protect. Even the fireplace insert came undamaged and in perfect condition. All the wood in the mantle is heavy, quality material and all pieces came unscratched. The fireplace insert has a blower which warms up the room nicely, just enough to take the chill off. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for a heat source with function.

Es muy bonita, clásica, es firme pero tienes que tener cuidado a la hora de armarla por que se raya muy fácil, y debes de ser paciente por que la forma de ensamblar contiene muchos tornillos y pernos, pero esta muy bien especificado el manual. Entre 2 personas duramos alrededor de 2 horas y media armandola, tiene buena calefaccion y tambien contiene aire frio o tibio, el control es super facil de usar; Por el precio creo que es buena compra, yo creo que daría un 8 de 10.

Hard work beautiful finish

Instructions were a little different. But it came together. Everything was functional and flames works good. Everything fit together. It’s very solid. It was delivered at two deliveries times.

Scratched and missing hardware:(

I purchased the black colored finish. Over half of the pieces of wood, had dirty dust spots in them. When u wipe the dust off, you will find scratches underneath. It's from them predrilling holes and not wiping it off afterwards. Then stacking pieces together causes the sawdust to scratch the he next piece. I'm gonna have to paint this when finished putting it together. It weighs to much for me to try and return the whole thing. We got halfway done with assembly, and had to stop because we are missing some hardware. I will update more after I purchase my own hardware and begin the last half of assembly. It would be nice looking if wasn't all scratched up! As expensive as this is, you would think the manufacturer would take more pride in their production.
