Easy to assemble, very solid base, and very cool looking. I started out with 60 W bulbs, but they were too bright, since it's all or nothing. I decided to get smart bulbs so I could adjust the lighting by each bulb and make them dimmable. They are perfect now with the smart bulbs.

I bought it because I needed a floor lamp with multiple heads to accomodate dark living room. This globe lamp looked very trendy unlike regular ones with the visible bulbs. Upon arriving, I was surprised about the weight of the base. It is relatively heavy that it is less likely to fall even with its tall height. The golden color looks very modern which matches with my other furniture. One thing to note is to install regular light bulbs (those with circle one), I needed to unassemble the golden ring on my 4th picture. After putting a bulb head into the globe and assembling back the golden ring, I could just plug the cord in and then use it. With all 3 light bulbs installed, as my 1st and 2nd pictures are shown, it is very bright. Since I am not looking directly at the light bulbs (instead looking at the globes), it does not hurt my eyes. ... show more

This is a gorgeous product and well worth the money. It has a mid-century modern feel, warm glow best suited for reading, and is made with quality material. My only complaint is difficulty of assembly and bulb removal. To put the lampshades on (which are made of a frosty glass), you have to forcefully hold three metal prongs together with one hand and carefully mount the shade with the other hand. Similar to setting a mouse trap. It's a delicate process best suited for two people. You can imagine how hard it is to remove the shade to replace a bulb (see other reviewer who accidentally broke a shade). If you're looking for a stylish lamp with "normal" bulb replacement, I recommend looking elsewhere. I'm unsure if I'd buy the lamp again, as beautiful as it is. Currently, I have energy-saving, long-lasting bulbs installed, and hope I don't have to replace them for a long while. ... show more

I was trying to buy some globe bulbs since a long time but needed one in brass so that it adds some rich and contemporary look to my decor. Pros: 1. Assembly was almost easy except for the fixing of the glass globes. 2. Push button of the wire is easy 3. The length is neither too long nor too short. Will be apt to keep in the living room besides the couch set. Cons: The bulbs came in day light color. I never liked this one and hence tried to change to pure white. I almost got my fingers cut for replacing the bulbs. The spring that holds this globe is honestly so hard to handle all alone. ... show more
