I have installed multiple fans. For starters the mount didn’t fit my metal electrical box in the ceiling by a few centimeters🤦🏼♀️. I had to use the old mount typically no big deal. The new rod didn’t fit flush in the old mount b/c there is a special seat/ridge that holds the rod in place just so. (I’m still not sure if it will sway back and forth when I turn on the fan). There are only pictures in the instructions not many words. I figured it out but it just takes more time, hence more difficult than it needs to be. After much assembly, you get to putting the light cover on. You’re afraid to break it as it has to clip like slide on mechanisms and you have to basically hold it flush hoping and praying you don’t break them off. The mounting, so many wires it’s un-necessary when you can tell they thought they were helping probably 4 or 5 click together wire hook ups. The thing I loathed most was a wiring box. Why it exists idk?? You have to slide it through the mounting bracket leaving little room to wire up your home wiring, even for female hands I’m not sure how any man does this besides with hand tools/pliers or something? I really struggled….I was frustrated and many times I wanted to cry out of frustration and had to take breaks b/c it literally just made me angry. I would rather just have all the wires to wire up than all this extra crap!! I still don’t have the cover over all the wires b/c using my old bracket it didn’t have holes in the bottom to screw into so I’ll probably have to find some close in length to just hold tension to the bracket. I have 99% with power but I’m not turning on the fan until I can get the wiring covered properly! Just a bit$&!! If I had known I woulda just got another fan from Menards but they didn’t have many black ones in my price range. Grrrr a heck of a headache!!! In the pictures the caps left and right next to the ceiling are my house wires!! That’s how much room is left after sliding that stupid box through the mounting bracket!! Find another fan, many are so much easier!!💯💯 negative stars on assembly!! ... show more

This fan was super easy to install. Instructions were pretty clear but didn't easily identify which screws to use, but luckily it was fairly self-explanatory. It seems to work well, although I am still on day 1. Its nice looking and a good price. I left the above but after having it for a week (and now months) it is noisy.
