So, I have a beautiful glass, but very non-private front door. Anyone can just walk up to the front door and see inside. So I was considering different options. I thought about getting that one way mirror film, but I didn’t want to hassle with possibly having bubbles and ending up with the glass on the door looking awful and with the mirror film, at night, you can’t see out, but the outside can see in! Yikes! Plus, I didn’t want something permanent. So I looked into curtains that can be moved when not wanted and drawn when needed. I came across these and then another kind that were blackout ones in a light beige color in the same exact style. Personally, I think the blackout ones looked like I just hung a sheet on my door and blacked out all light coming in, and didn’t allow me to see out at all. With these, a soft light is able to come through, no more harsh morning light! AND, I am able to see out of them, but you cannot see into my house AT ALL! At night they might be transparent if you do not have porch lights on. I have a porch light right in front of my front door that keeps it from being transparent! This comes with 2 curtains that have a Velcro adhesive strip that literally just sticks to whatever you want to stick it to, it’s so easy to put anywhere, and it’s very strong!! I only have one front door, but I have 2 side lights that I wanted to cover also, so I took one of the curtains, and cut it in half lengthwise and then sewed a new hem, and VOILA, two side light curtains! As far as the COLOR options, I was unsure which I would like best, so I ordered two different colors. One of the photos in my review is of the natural (left) and Angora (right) side by side. All my other photos are of the natural (the one I chose) as it had a more light and airy feel about it, like a sheer curtain, but still with some character as it is not white. If you are on the fence, just go for it! They have a great return policy if it doesn’t work out!

These are perfect for my Florida home! The linen lets light in , but provides privacy . Soo easy to install ( 10 minutes) I left one up , one down to show the difference. Because it’s linen , they arrived a bit wrinkled. I put them in the dryer with a wet cloth and a dryer sheet for 10 minutes on medium heat . I used the solid white ones for an upstairs bedroom where I wanted the light blocked , they are perfect. Such an easy , inexpensive window treatment . I bought an extra set for when these are in the wash . Highly recommend!!

Easy install, strong velcro, and great look. During the day you can not see in, at night you can but sight is impacted some. I love they block view, but still allow for natural light to come in. The velcro strip is a little longer then needed, so I left extra on both sides. Then I hung and went back and cut the excess. I cleaned my door, wiped with alcoholic and then hung the velcro. So far it is holding strong, even with my 2 yr old constantly pulling and playing with them.

I put these on my back door. It's a fake French door set up, where only one side opens but a lot of light comes in. Light can still come through when closed, but only about half the original sun of straight glass. The door can easily open without the fabric getting in the way, and velcros into a cute roll when you want to see outside. My cats like to sit behind the curtains when I forget to open them for the day, which is a nice bonus. Nothing has fallen or come apart, and I have had these curtains for around 6 months as of time of review.

The media could not be loaded. I needed this to keep the sun out of the door window! Velcro was included and it was such an easy product to use. You can roll the linen curtain up with the tie backs, yet for this harsh Texas summer, I need to keep the linen curtain down. A piece of linen would cost considerable more than this entire linen blend kit. The look of the linen is beautiful and sheer yet keeps out the sun! Price is fabulous and I had this up in 7 minutes. Great purchase and beautiful in my Farmhouse!

These looks almost custom made for my door! Gave them a really good ironing on medium settings and they lay perfectly flat against the door windows. We have tried a lot of ideas here and so far this one looks the best. You can see how sheer they are by comparing up and down pictures. We wanted them to be sheer enough where we can still see out. Great Value- easy to install.
