Read on a neighborhood post about new scam how thieves can triangulate between one at your door (presuming you hang your keys by the door) and one at the car with an RFID reader making it possible to start and drive off with your car. In comments this type of fob cover was recommended and sounded like a great idea. This was a great deal to get 6 of these for about same price as others. Pouch is approx. 3 1/4" x 5" and seemed to be well done. I liked that there were 2 sets of 3 different colored stitching to differentiate between car sets. Inside the pouch was a key ring so the fob can't just slide out. There's another little pocket perfect for ID and a couple CC's. Velcro closure works great. On back is a seemlingly well attached small latch carabiner hook to attach to a lanyard. Overall, I think this is a good product for what it's described to do. However, it works too well! I tried it out and found that it effectively cancels your keyless entry option when you are getting into and out of the car, which I didn't think of when ordering! You have to pull the pouch out of your purse/pocket, undo the flap to access the fob to push the buttons or enter keyless and then close pouch and return to purse/pocket; rather than just walking up to the car and hopping in with keyless entry. So, to me that caused too much inconvenience and I returned them.

These work as their suppose to by blocking the signals. I use these on my keys when I’m out in public and at work. Keeps my car secure without having to turn off the keyless features on the vehicle itself. I also use a bag for all my spare keys that I have.

So I leave the fob in this packet while I use the car. So this doesn't completely shield the fob. It isn't until you get about 15 feet from the car that it works so it's works just a little. Keep fob in pouch more than 20 feet away from where someone can steal the signal.

My keyfob will not open doors or start the vehicle unless you pull it out of the pouch about a 1/4", just enough to get a little signal aiming to antenna for vehicle to open door and/or start engine 😊 But it's outer leather case is too firm, pretty much requires two hands 🙌 to accomplish this move, but Well worth the trouble 😊

Read others reviews, some say it blocks keyless entry well it's supposed to block signal that's the purpose. Some say it doesn't work, probably would if you put it in the correct pocket. Some say it's to small but it tells you the dimension. Biggest problem is people just don't read or follow the instructions. By the way they work great just what I wanted.
