Bit of a learning curve, but fun when you figure it out. Have used chatgpt to help with a few program adjustments which were confusing to begin with not using CAD software before. Upgraded to palm router and got some better lines the provided spindle is fine if working with soft enough material. Overall design works well and is easy to setup. Good value for starting out. Accuracy is pretty good, have made a few signs so far and they have all come out nicely. Spend the time adjusting the work pc, double and triple checking it's secure before starting ... show more

Working fine. It does come with a few bits, and an adapter for other size bits. The bits it comes with are all the same kind just different sizes.

It's poorly made, literally cannot be put together with the hardware it comes with, and it does not include all of the parts. (Judging by the packaging, this is intentional) On top of that, the primary safety feature does not function: the emergency stop button is clearly meant to be a latching emergency stop button but they have used a momentary switch instead. Also, Amazon seems to not want to process my return despite having had it back for several days now, so I may have to initiate a chargeback on the whole order this was in. ... show more

I've used it for multiple purposes - controlling with candle under Linux. Made PCB test fixtures (drilled spring pin guide plate with precision), I've used it to make wooden stencils for singe, cut out adapters. Used with FR4, HDPE sheets, wood, and PVC. I suggest a collect set for drilling smaller than 1/8". Not 5 stars because there's no encoder feedback, if it misses a stepper step it doesn't know it and remaining work will be offset by 1 step. Leave it parked at the end of the Y axis, as it seems to strain the belts on the axis encouraging a step as it moves past the resting / parked location. Also the home zero isn't very repeatable, I use a work mark to re-zero in case it's needed. Really wish it had an aluminum table rather than the MDF, but I'm making one for it. But relative precision, and capabilities to drill and route are great. So even without the features I'd like (encoder, accurate zero, better table) it was worth the investment. ... show more
