I do not have a great deal of experience with laser levels and so I bought this based on some reviews comparing it to some of the bigger name brands like DEWALT. The level is easy to use and seems quite accurate. I like the fact that the battery has a charge indicator. The lines are bright and easily seen. The quality overall seems good. I have owned 2 Bosch laser for the past couple of years, but then I was still looking for a laser system that allow you to project a 90 deg intersection to square a flooring layout. Honestly, I haven’t try this unit for an actual project, but base on my assessment, this is exactly the one I need. The green laser is much clearer than the red even in a bright indoor location. Additionally, the line for this unit is much finer compared to the red laser, which in my opinion is more accurate. In regards to the rotary base, this does not offer much of a help because it spins loosely which could easily alter your previous layout. It could have been nice if there is a tightening knob for adjustment. So far, is a good product, and I highly recommend this for tradesmen or DIYers. ... show more

Everything seems very well built and the beams are quite bright and can’t wait to use it on a couple projects coming up. My only concern is the pendulum lock was not in the locked position when it was unpacked. Will give an update once I have used it.

Is working very well and design is surprisingly good. Push buttons are very sensitive that is needed for change between vertical and horizontal lines without disturbing the device position. Also he have a remote control for same reason. I like that! Two high capacity batteries provide power for long working hours ( I’m curious how much will cost to replace them, if is hard to find and how log they will last). Suitcase is a junk. ... show more

It's been great to use. Got a tripod at Lowe's and hooked it to it. It's been invaluable for my home projects for trim work, wainscoting, and anything needing more than single point of reference.
