I've had a chance to use this a little and so far I really like it. I checked it against a good builders optical level and it is right on.I bought this more expensive package to be able to use with the remote sensor which is an advantage on outside projects where visibility would be an issue. I tried it in pulse mode and it worked fine. But the main reason I got it was for interior work leveling floors, countertops, etc. and it is working great for that. This package has only one lithium battery but you have multiple powering options including an aaa battery pack and also usb c plug in. Customer support as reported in reviews seemed more robust than some and that's a plus. It is a well built unit but it would need to be handled with care. If you drop it on a hard surface I think you can probably kiss it goodbye. That being said, even the contractor brands like dewalt, bosch. etc. won't survive dropping accidents and I wouldn't trust one without recalibration even if it did, A plus for me is having a known good optical unit to be able to check calibration and it's right on. The green light is very bright and the 360 was a must have for me.It will mount on my standard builders level tripod which is great for outside work. This package includes a very nice hard case and several mounting accessories. It has an adjustable magnetic mount accs. which I think will be very useful, the magnets are very strong. The self leveling mechanism works great, it will self level perfectly on any reasonably flat level surface and the self leveling function is automatic. Honestly I am very happy that I bought this unit. I think you could find one for under $100 on Amazon that will work fine but I looked at a lot of them and this company has been around for a while, offers replacement parts and accessories,good warranty and was at the top end price range for what I wanted to spend, maybe a little more but so far I think it's worth it.

This works very well, but it isn't as heavy duty as a pro would need. Batteries stay charged for days of continuous use. I've checked it against my bubble level and it is right on. Great value for gentle use. I wouldn't trust this for rough use, or very long term. But at this price you can replace it several times over what you would pay for one of the big names. Very satisfied with it.

Easy to use and setup. Appears to be good quality. Nice packaging, everything protected. Has a great floor laser. Using outside and hard to see laser, have to learn to use power pulse to increase laser brightness. Bought high tripod and is great with multi laser. Such a great help and is sturdy. Will be checking distance of laser but seems bright.

Best purchase I've made in a while! I thought it was a luxury but now I know it's a necessity. Don't know how I got along without it. Range is good even in sunlight. Detector works really well (remember it has to be in pulse mode) battery life is great and having a horizontal line above and below the body is extremely useful. I compared a lot of different models but for the features and the price I could not find better. The digital tilt sensor is especially nice and most of the others in this price range don't have it. The remote is nice to, especially when you're 50 feet away and forgot to turn on pulse mode to use the detector.

Review from a landscaper. Had a job where I had to run 4in drain pipe 160ft from front left of the home to back yard right side. At 1/3 of the cost of a big name brand I took a risk. Set the laser at about mid way. The receiver had very slight issues picking up the laser 80ft away. 2 issues to fix it. 1) cover the receiver so direct sunlight does not hit the receiver sensor. 2) rotate the laser to be perpendicular to the receiver at far distances. Overall good tool. Quality reflects the price. Will keep in the truck and use for as long as jt lasts.

It worked pretty well at first but after about 17 months one of the lasers quit working. I was late to call in for the warranty but they replaced with a refurbished one. Great for putting up walls.

I purchased this laser less than 1 year ago and use it frequently when I tile bathrooms. It worked great in the beginning but one day it stopped working completely. I tried charging it, using the AA batteries, but nothing will get it to turn back on. I cant contact the seller directly to inquire about a replacement either so the 5 year warranty is useless. I would avoid this junk at all cost
