DO KEEP IN MIND THIS IS A VERY SMALL BAG FOR THE $22+ PRICE TAG Advertised as 1.88lb but the bag I received was only 1.1lb, that's a -0.78lbs difference and for the $22+ before tax is very pricy AND less product than advertised. I found something similar to this mix and you could get a 8lbs for less than $10 at home depot so I'm not sure what makes this one a higher value for less product. I have yet to try it since I was first given the wrong type of soil but hopefully it works really well for my veggies. I love that it's a minority owned business and all organic. But the price just seems way to over priced for a very small bag of soil. :(

I recently tried this out for my indoor plants, and I’ve got to say, it’s been a game-changer. First off, the soil quality is top-notch. It’s a rich, dark mix that feels light and fluffy, making it easy to work with. My plants seem to love it—they’ve been looking healthier and more vibrant since I started using it. The nutrients in this blend are impressive. It’s packed with biochar, mycorrhizae, and plant probiotics, which help with nutrient uptake and overall plant health. I’ve noticed that my plants are growing more robustly and requiring less frequent watering, which is a nice bonus. One thing I really appreciate is that there’s no unpleasant smell. Some soil mixes can have a strong odor, but this one is pretty neutral, which is great for indoor use. The 2-quart size is perfect for my needs. It’s enough to repot a few plants or mix into existing soil without having a huge bag taking up space. And considering the quality, I think it’s a good value for the price. Wakefield Premium Biochar Blend with CarbonBoost & Advanced Probiotics - Organic Potting Soil, 2 quarts (ASIN : B0DQVFY8VP) Two quarts is a pretty small bag. You can use it as-is, or use it mixed 50-50 with other soils. The bag says it's enough to do two 6 inch pots, or one 10 inch pot, if used on its own. So far, I've done a 50-50 mix in 4 inch pots, for some herbs and cat grass. Growing indoors in late winter, the plants need all the help they can get. I think a little of this goes a long way, especially if you're starting with quality potting soil, and just want a little extra added to it.

This biochar has been giving my planters a real boost in soil quality. It's a bit pricey, but I added it to my usual mix (NPK amended coco coir, homemade compost, and regular potting mix) and my seedlings and planters have never looked so good! The biochar is ground quite fine, and a little goes a long way. If charged correctly using compost and micronutrients, it can help greatly to improve soil quality, acting like a slow-release fertilizer - but natural. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the quality of this biochar!

This is absolutely excellent! The plants have grown exponentially and when I tested the soil it was absolutely thriving. This is amazing and I seriously need a dump truck load of it for all the garden, plants and landscaping! absolutely perfect! 100/10!
