I feel a lot better throwing one of these on my GoPro than leaving it uncovered. They could be a little tighter, so be aware they can slip off. This subtracts one star. But by and large I am happy to keep a handful of these on hand. Recommended.

To be honest, I'm unsure why GoPro doesn't include a similar lens cover with their cameras, but it's good that this is available. In my opnion, it's a mistake to store the GoPro without something to keep dust and dirt away from the lens, as well as to protect it from scratches. These covers are constructed of silicon, and they stay put with a simple friction fit. There isn't much more to say about this than that. ... show more

Not a perfect fit

This thing had one job. The fit is not perfect. It sits a little wonky and doesn't come down all the way flush. It does stay on so it's not a true failure, but if you're going to make something this basic, you want to make sure fits properly, geez.
