These stretchy bands are great for physical therapy type strength training. I wanted a set that had a variety of resistance levels so that I could build up strength around my knees/legs and have a lighter option for days that my knee was really bothering me. This fits the bill exactly! And the non-stretch stretching band with loops is amazing for doing various stretches when you don’t have a full range of motion. I’m starting to do more yoga due to my bad knee and this helps with stretches that I can’t quite fully do, such as for my quadriceps. The bands are durable and have been holding up well with daily use. They are a rubber material, so using on bare skin can be uncomfortable, especially if you have some hair (or so my hubby says). I tend to have long length pants on and haven’t had any issues. My physical therapist had me use similar bands and it’s nice to have these at home to use.

I take a Les Mills course (which I love!) called Shapes, which calls for a resistance band to wear around your thighs.... and the resistance bands in this set do the job! My routine calls for a lot of "changes", meaning the bands to on, then you take them off, etc. in rapid fashion.... and these work really well for that. They are smooth so they go on and off easily. I have a relatively "regular" workout routine, so I use the black extra strength band, but for those just starting out using resistance bands or those who prefer a more user friendly routine, it's nice to have so many resistance options for different moves! (I keep them all in a little cosmetic bag in my gym bag) Also nice is that the resistance bands are clearly marked (see photo) so you don't have to try and remember which color band is "medium" etc. So that's a plus! They are pretty standard resistance bands. Nothing special about them, but nothing bad about them. They are similar to what you are likely to find in most gyms if the gym provides resistance bands (mine does not provide). There are higher end bands on the market but you're going to pay a lot more for them and if you are going to spend that kind of money, you really need to know what you need, how to use them etc. before you purchase so this is a perfectly functional set for the normal user. These are small, lightweight, easy to clean, and easy to keep in your bag. I'm happy with them overall and will continue to use them vs. buying a more expensive set. As for the non-elastic yoga strap... I think this is a nice item, but it's probably more suited for beginners or individuals doing physical therapy. 1. I'm not sure why there are so many loops! I guess if you aren't used to using a "traditional" yoga strap (which I've never seen with so many loops), it's easier to use the hand hold loops vs. just gripping the yoga strap itself probably.. Additionally, if you have trouble gripping things like a traditional strap, this may be PERFECT for you.... perhaps for individuals with arthritis etc. It would make it a little easier to "grip" the strap in different spots and it's likely more versatile for a variety of moves. If you are in physical therapy... consult with you therapist because this may be BETTER for you than a traditional strap without all the hand-hold/foot loops. 2. Note that all the hand-hold loops make this yoga strap quite large! (See photo next to my foot for scale).... so if you are going to keep it in a home gym, that's ok.... but if you use a studio or gym outside your home...know that this strap takes up a lot of room in a gym bag and you're going to want to have some kind of smaller bag to keep it in for transport. 3. The numbers pictured in the loops on my set were just little plastic stickers and they fell off the band as soon as I got it out of the bag. (so odd!) That being said, I'm not sure anyone really "needs" all the numbers on the strap, so it's not a big deal to me that they all fell off, but know that the product you get is not going to be what is pictured in the ad. No biggie to me, but something to be aware of.
