I'm am more than satisfied with this product! This light/laser combo is well made and works even better than it looks. The light is clear and bright, the laser sharp and bright, and controls are exactly where they should be. Switching from light, to laser, to both is easy and a distinct click is felt. I did install a small screw through the mount to the pistol rail groove, like a set screw, as the SR9 has a really slick finish and under recoil the light could slip a little. I do not blame the Tacticon light/laser for this. It is just the nature of polymer frames. I am just a stickler for safety and overkill when it comes to self defense. I am very pleased with this light and as soon as they are available I will be getting another. The light/laser, extra battery, and instructions that are clear and very easy to read make this the best value for my money I have had for a long time! Thank you......... John B. The light does what I want, it has a pressure switch - or you can use it w/o the pressure pad, and use a on/off button on the unit. The package came with 4 CR123/rechargeable batteries, AND a charger. Fit well on a standard rail mount at first, but now after a few weeks is a little loose. Doesn't seem to lock into the groove on a regular rail, there might be a little tab that was supposed to lock into a groove, but doesn't seem to do that, now. I wanted a decently bright flashlight, with a decent runtime, that mounted on my AR pistol, and it does do that. There is a laser ... pointer? on it, as well. The laser is so far off axis, that if it's mounted on the side or the bottom, has a lot of movement vs impact point, depending on distance. Off to the side is worst, as it moves left and right depending on distance. I guess the up and down movement is more... something you could learn to compensate for. I would have preferred a lower profile light, and could skip the laser. Maybe lock to a M-LOK without the rail part? That would get it less off axis. If you could get rid of the attach-to-rail part, then you'd also get a lot closer to the axis, and less bulky feeling. (Free constructive criticism.) There are 3 (4 including 'off') modes you can select - Light and laser, just laser, just light. I can't see how the laser will be useful for me - unless it was on top of the barrel, then it's just not in line with the bullet trajectory. For the price, the battery life, the extra set, the brightness, it's worth the price, to me. The size is a turn off, the laser, whatever. I'd probably take it off if that wouldn't destroy it. Always good if you think you might ever run into a situation where you've got your gun out at night, and need to check your target before proceeding. (which I would say is a good idea.) I can't see using this on a handgun, just would make it way clunky, and the laser wouldn't help you, it's more like a cheap airsoft laser. No click on the vertical or horizontal adjustment, just adjusting some very small allen key set screw. I didn't seem to get the baggie with screws for batter compartment, or the little tiny allen wrench for the laser adjustment. I contacted them, they were happy to send me out a new set (for free). I may have lost them when I opened the package, but I don't think so. So good customer service. ... show more

I bought this device after reading the 1 and 5 star ratings. Initial WOW factor was up there, with just seeing the product box! Impressive, clean and professional looking. Gave only a 4, since I just received the item. Well thought out construction. The Light is VERY Bright, as is the Laser. The power switch is a bit out of the way, but is not a problem. The addition of rechargeable batteries is a nice touch, but I opted to initially use regular CR batteries. Haven't tested yet rechargeable batteries for longevity! Removing and reinstalling the battery cover screws can become tedious, if using the light for extended periods and needing additional juice. If not using the battery cover screws, the "latch points" for the battery cover may also become a problem, since the plastic edge latch points are rather thin in those areas. Though, the Instructions indicate to Use The Screws, which I AM! A bit CONCERNED about the rail tightening screw, no problems yet, but it looks rather thin. Also, the tape for the on/off velcro didn't stick to surface for long. :( Instructions Need a blurb about Charging Batteries and how long it takes. Again, I hope that the item is as good as it looks, since I plan on getting another one in the future (to compare?). GREAT Value (so far!) for the Money! At this point, I will give a 4 until proven otherwise. I DO recommend this product at this time. UPDATE: Product holding up. Durability and reliability are Top Notch. Increased the rating from a 4 to a 5. Great quality, pricing and looks. I Highly Recommend this product! :) ... show more

I have purchased a few sets of the tacticon flip up sights, and they are a solid, quality product. I expected no less of this. I’ll be returning this just like someone else already has. That’s right, I received a used item. The first thing I noticed was that the box wasn’t sealed in plastic like the other items I’ve bought from tacticon. After opening the box, one of the sets of batteries was already unwrapped. It was obvious that someone had attempted to mount it and sight it in. There were scratches in the mounting area, and all of the Allen screws had some damage on them. As far as the quality of the light/laser, it is a totally useless piece of junk. The light and laser seemed to be nice and bright and function well for the few seconds I turned it on. To mount it, you have to slide it on from the end of the rail instead of clamping over it. The clamp itself was a joke. Impossible to tighten. Even with the thumbscrew fully tightened, it would flop all over. It would be impossible to sight in the laser. As other reviewers stated, the battery compartment was a horrible design. I’m a veteran myself, and I can’t believe that a vet-owned company would ever put their name on a product like this. ... show more
