I bought this device after reading the 1 and 5 star ratings. Initial WOW factor was up there, with just seeing the product box! Impressive, clean and professional looking. Gave only a 4, since I just received the item. Well thought out construction. The Light is VERY Bright, as is the Laser. The power switch is a bit out of the way, but is not a problem. The addition of rechargeable batteries is a nice touch, but I opted to initially use regular CR batteries. Haven't tested yet rechargeable batteries for longevity! Removing and reinstalling the battery cover screws can become tedious, if using the light for extended periods and needing additional juice. If not using the battery cover screws, the "latch points" for the battery cover may also become a problem, since the plastic edge latch points are rather thin in those areas. Though, the Instructions indicate to Use The Screws, which I AM! A bit CONCERNED about the rail tightening screw, no problems yet, but it looks rather thin. Also, the tape for the on/off velcro didn't stick to surface for long. :( Instructions Need a blurb about Charging Batteries and how long it takes. Again, I hope that the item is as good as it looks, since I plan on getting another one in the future (to compare?). GREAT Value (so far!) for the Money! At this point, I will give a 4 until proven otherwise. I DO recommend this product at this time. UPDATE: Product holding up. Durability and reliability are Top Notch. Increased the rating from a 4 to a 5. Great quality, pricing and looks. I Highly Recommend this product! :) ... show more

    • Amazing quality laser light combo for the price

I want to start this by saying I bought this for airsoft so I have no idea how it will work for real steel, but it is exactly what I needed! The light is surprisingly bright and the laser does the job nicely, and I was able to fit this on a 3 slot pic rail with no problems. The entire unit is made of plastic but appears to be good quality. Being able to switch between light, laser, or both is awesome. The included pressure switch is very nice, and i appreciate it being as short as it is, i hate having loose wires hanging. The batteries it comes with are rechargeable, which is a nice touch, however it does not include a charger, which i wouldn't expect on a 20 dollar light. The customer service is phenomenal, with a hand written note included personalized with my name on it, again a very nice touch. The shipping was incredibly fast, i got mine about 4 days after ordering it. If possible i would reccomend that they make a full metal version, preferably aluminum, and include the battery charger with it, I would pay more to have these things. Thank you Jacob for an incredible product at an even more incredible price, I will be reccomending this light combo to all my friends! ... show more

This is a good idea. Fixes a Mossberg Shockwave right up. Top-mounted on rail, places the button control right above the tang safety. Seems well built. Visible red laser within practical shooting distance in daylight. Visible within beam in dark. Can’t beat the price. Great value. Updating review after some range time... for Shockwave/Tac14 style firearms just be aware that laser assist is not so straightforward as for pistols or rifles where you start with a natural aim. When I took to the range in daytime, the experience was not unlike that when you can’t find your mouse on a cluttered screen. So for elevation and windage adjust I had to walk up to the zombie target and center the laser and then step back while struggling to keep the short firearm on target. I really could not just naturally point the firearm and find the laser dot in daylight. So, in summary, this is a great “bump in the night” combo. But don’t think you’ll be able to just yank it from under your truck seat in broad daylight. You’ll probably shoot like an Star Wars empire stormtrooper if you do. This is not a deficiency in the product. It’s really well made. I’ll also note that I willingly allowed myself to order this device thinking that it might provide a more daylight visible green laser since the product title said red/green laser... even though the description said red laser. If this manufacturer DOES provide green laser support, go for it. ... show more

The laser look very nice and flash light is blinding in the day light, can't wait to see how it does at my range soon but I am still waiting for the new upper to install it on did not want to remove the other of my other weapon just to try it so there is no review for accuracy yet when I do i will edit this review, I would recommend this to any one looking for a good laser/flashlight unit i do like the fact it come with the rechargeable battery's, 2 sets even, and charger did good charging the battery's, But make sure you charge them before you use them very few rechargeable battery will come fully charged, due to normal discharge rate of all rechargeable battery's, so the fool that complained about battery's not coming charge their not very wise! Now i can say for accuracy it was quicker and easier to zero in then a couple of scopes i have had and so far it has not moved a inch from it's setting, and i need to say the fact that we don't have to buy replacement battery's any more is fantastic just remember to charge them before use and don't think that is a sign of the quality of battery they work good and i still have not change out the first pair yet and that has been since the end of April. ... show more
