The Honda OEM running boards were nearly $1000, so I looked on Amazon and found these TAC brand alternatives for a fraction of the cost. The mounts aligned perfectly with the pre-drilled holes in the truck; it was a 20-minute job for both sides. After 3 1/2 years, they still look like new, the actual step surfaces have not deteriorated, cracked, or degraded in any way. The full-length running boards are clean-looking, too. You may not think you need running boards for a Ridgeline because it's not a huge step-up into the cab from the ground like a larger or lifted truck. I'm a disabled vet and they make getting in and out so much easier. And, my wife is petite -- she would have a difficult time without the running boards. This is NOT a compensated review, but I know it sounds like it. Vehicle: 2020 Ridgeline AWD. Appearance: top quality. Install and fit: perfect and easy. The brackets fit exactly in the OEM locations with no adjustments or tweaking necessary. Installation tips: if you have a shop do this for you, if you pay more than a one-hour labor rate you are being ripped off; for a shop with a lift and power tools this is a half-hour job at most. A 67 year-old man crawling around his garage floor took just an hour. If you do it yourself, all you'll need is a ratchet and a 13mm socket. Don't attempt it with a wrench- you're an adult with a truck- you should have ratchet & socket set. If you're having trouble with bracket fit, make sure you have the right one- 6 unique brackets and the location is stamped on each one- look closely. Follow instructions not to tighten until all bolts are installed first. Buy with confidence- this is the second set of bars I have purchased from TAC; the first was for a 2016 Pilot and they still look good and have performed flawlessly. ... show more
