This is a heavy piece of furniture and very sturdy and attractive once put together. On furniture like this the back is often just thin MDF board, but this back is actually wood. Two pieces you join together with wooden dowels and glue. Some complain about the fact it is particle board and not solid wood. Get serious folks. Nearly ALL knock down furniture you assemble out of a box is going to be particle board. As particle board goes this is heavier, thicker and better than normal. Solid wood is going to be way more expensive than what this costs I have assembled a good number of "shipped in a box" furniture. This particular dresser is not overly complicated but it is time consuming. It took about six hours working by myself. The instructions are essentially just pictures. Very little in the way of written instructions. But the pictures are pretty clear. The only problems during assembly is two of the sliding rails for the drawers were mislabeled. But looking carefully at the pictures it was obvious the parts had the wrong stickers on them. And as seems always the case the tiny tube of glue is no where near enough. But that's OK, a bottle of Elmer's glue is cheap and always in the house. As others have mentioned - and this seems to be common with knockdown dressers/chest of drawers shipped in a box that the customer assembles - the drawers are no where near as deep as they could be. They could easily be 2-3 inches deeper. Which of course would allow for more storage/bulkier clothes. But all said the assembled chest of drawers is sturdy, attractive and well priced. So five stars

The media could not be loaded. A beautiful dresser. I decided to take a chance on this piece of furniture in spite of the bad reviews and I’m really glad I did. It does take time to put together and you do have to follow the instructions precisely (triple check all the images as well). If you follow the instructions, it goes together exactly. Everything in the right place with smooth gliding drawers. Some of the rail parts were not correctly labeled, but I was able to figure it out. I don’t think I could have found a better dresser at this price unless I went to a used furniture store. It’s a very sturdy piece. I also really like the cream color and the light brown top. It was exactly what I needed for this room.

I usually don’t tend to write detailed reviews, but for this product, I felt like it truly deserved it. Overall, this is a great dresser. Aesthetically, it looks almost like real wood which is great for people on a budget with interior design goals. The only downside was it was a pain to build (as most reviews state), but once finished, all the time spent was totally worth it. I also must say that the seller of this item is also SUPER kind and helpful. My set didn’t come with enough handles and they were so generous to provide me free replacements. :) Most sellers neglect good quality customer service so it was very refreshing to see how much they prioritized it.

Great! I highly recommend the seller too. It came out gorgeous. It was a pain in the a$$ to build alone, but I managed to do it. One of my pieces had a misalignment with the pre-drilled holes, so I wasn't able to finish the last drawer. I contacted the seller and they quickly responded and kindly sent me a replacement! It's a great dresser and probably one of the best you'll find for this price point. Update 2. A few months later. I still love this dresser. It's really solid. I got billed import fees for the replacement board. I contacted the seller and they promptly refunded me the bill. I can't recommend this seller enough!

This dresser arrived on time. The packaging was very secure and nothing was damaged. It is long and weighs about 100# making it difficult to get into the house. I waited until I had help. I spent about 30 minutes unpacking the box, separating the boards and counting the hardware. It took 7 hours to complete, only having help with getting the 2nd side on.. I was not missing anything and a baggie of spare hardware came with it. I thought it was pretty easy to follow the "photo" instructions. I struggled with lining up the many posts and boards while getting the 2nd side attached to the back. Thankfully I had help for that. I did not want to get too rough since it is particle board. Originally, a couple of drawers did not fit properly and I thought that I would have to dismantle and fix somethings. Today, I moved my drawers around and everything fits perfectly. This dresser has met all of my expectations. The color is correct. There is not any wobbling or obvious weakness. It is much better quality than expected and if I do not move it much, should last a long time.

This dresser is very cheaply made like that majority of items these days. The reason why I say I wouldn’t have it for children or babies is I have spent almost a year trying to remove the awful smell from it. I have sprayed it with orange oil cleaner, put charcoal bags in every drawer, put a fresh wave inside of it over night on many occasions..and so on..an air purifier is running non stop in the room I have it in. And it still smells horrible. The drawers don’t align and close properly either. The materials are so cheap the insides of the drawers are stickers. It is an absolute joke of a dresser. Do not buy!

This dresser looks nice after its put together, but it took me hours to assemble because the picture directions aren’t clear. The wood and hardware are labeled well. The drawers open and close well. There were extra parts included. The durability is average. It’s a nice size.
