Ive had my lamp for about a year. I love how simple it is, and the wide array of lighting options has a fit for any mood. One tiny annoying this is that the remote gets a response from my tv, which sits next to the lamp. So I have to be careful when I'm switching the lights with the tv on. Something was weird about the assembly as well, but its been a while and I've forgotten the details. See other reviews for advice about that.

What is not to like about this floor lamp? The remote means my husband can turn it on or off from the other side of the bed. The remote has a night time light we love. We don't have to get out of bed to turn the light off at night! The light this lamp provides is wonderful! I can bring the light directly over the book I am reading or move it to any higher or lower position. It stays right where you move it too - that, I think is one of the best features of this lamp. The light is bright with a number of different dimming levels and you even can choose a cool or warm light. I've used it to put on makeup, floss my teeth and even tweeze eyebrows. I am older with glasses and find the bright light makes everything easier to see. This lamp has a nice sturdy base that stays put - no falling over - just perfect. Very easy to assemble. Give this lamp a try!

So glad that I stumbled upon this floor lamp while searching for a floor lamp for my piano (Yamaha Clavinova full-sized with 88 keys). While I bought this on a whim with no reviews but I thought to give it a try after reading the features listed and it did not disappoint!! Unlike other similar lamps sold here on Amazon, this floor lamp is equipped with a much longer bendable goose neck which allows for much wider angle of light and therefore illuminates larger area of space which is exactly what I needed for my piano (see my photo for reference, you can see that the light illuminates entire piano). Once you adjust/bent the goose neck to your desired position, it stays put and maintains its position with no problems. Lamp has a weighted base with the power cords hidden inside from the top to about 1-2 inches above the base, touch-sensitive buttons on the lamp, comes with 3 color temps (cool, mix, warm) with 5 adjustable brightness. I tried taking photos with 5 different levels of brightness but for some reasons my camera is not picking up the differences, however, you can definitely see the differences with your naked eyes. While I don’t need the timer function (since this is for my piano), I’ve tested both 60 sec and 10 min timer (via remote) and they work just fine. Excellent job done by the manufacturer using minimal amount of materials for packaging, yet the lamp was packed nicely that you know will not be damaged during transport. The remote requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included in the package) and has a decent range when I tested it. Overall, this is LED floor lamp is a great value and has a good balance between design and functions. A similar floor lamp sold in piano stores would costs several hundred of dollars. Lastly, my favorite setting for piano playing is Mix for color temp with level 4 brightness.

It works well and is adjustable in both position and lighting. But, there is low power setting that's very useful for reading in bed, and you can only activate it with the remote. You can't do it from the controls on the stalk of the light. This is disappointing.

I like the lamp, it's easy to assemble with the wires running through all the pieces. The base is a pretty decent weight, it won't tip over unless you bump it pretty hard. The problems I do have, concerns moving it from one spot to another. If you look at the picture, you see that the only real option to grab this is by the light control, you can just grab the pole itself, but at 9/16 of an inch people with a bad grip will have problems, and trying to grab the controls either turns the light off or changes your settings. The other problem is the brightness, at night this will not light up a Livingroom. Mine is 12' by 16'. This is a good reading light, but works much better when watching television. I would go with something that puts out more than 10 watts.

Love my new lamp! Background: I like a light on my side of our dual-recliner, but the reflection and glare bouncing off the TV bothers my husband because he can't see the picture through it. I can see the picture fine because the the angle doesn't put glare on my side of the tv. Moving forward to now: I found this lamp and it's perfect. I've got it pointing at the ceiling, angled very slightly away from us, on it's dimmest setting with the warmest light. With this setup it dimly highlights my side of the room, giving me just enough light on my so I can see my table, but there is no glare on the tv at all, even when the tv is turned off and totally black. Couldn't have found a better solution.

While this looks a little ungainly, it provides a lot of light and is adjustable for white light, yellow light, and brightness. The neck is long enough to allow the lamp to sit on the floor and still light the desk or puzzle without taking up tabletop space.
