Bought this as party favors for my daughter's 9th birthday party. Kids loved it! One request for supplier/manufacturer: please provide individual instruction manuals, as not everyone knows how to use it or knows to look it up online. I had to print out copies of instruction (especially about the part about not shining the UV light into eyes!!) and individually show the kids how to use this (especially warn them not to shine into anyone's eyes...as that is what kids would do).

I got this in addition to a set of mini notebooks for my kids and a couple of their friend's as stocking stuffers. They loved being able to write secret notes only they could see. I loved that they don't stain or have weird residue or anything. They were a fun addition to a secret agent game, and they each feel special now being able to write notes only they can read. (Can be seen under any blacklight or tilting it a certain way under normal light.)

I bought these for party favors for a kid's detective party. They were a big hit and the kids loved writing in invisible ink and then using the light to reveal the secret message!

We purchased two sets of these for birthday party favors. Out of 24 we had about 7 that we discovered were not working due to the light not turning on (maybe the battery shifted during transport?) and now I worry how many more disappointed kiddos after opening their favor bags. I love the concept and for those where the ink was working (we had 1 that the ink did not) and the light was working they were great.

I use these in my private lab. When I study I tend to have a dark room with a black light on. These pens are so amazing I could write an entire textbook in the dark without a headache from that blasted orange ball in the sky! Do you have a secret dark cave lab in the Mojave desert? I do, and these are my official retired Air Force lab pens for secret squirrel note writing. In all honesty, I have a lab, I do live in the sun I mean desert. I have my lab windows blacked out and my retinas fry when my milk white skin reflects even the slightest. I got tired of having to turn on a light for simple notes and these pens are a life saver. My wife probably wonders if there is something wrong with me, but she delivers babies, and that is pretty alien when you think about it.
