These are the same thing as the fancy name brand. It's well worth the month for what all you get. If you buy the fancy name brand ones, you spend twice as much and don't get as many rolls. I've bought these several times. We bag meat from the store and process our own wild game that we harvest.

I ran out of bags and had to get a substitute until these arrived. I normally use Food Saver brand. Picked up some emergency Seal A Meal ones. Lousy!! When these Syntus bags arrived I put up a bunch of steaks. These are my new favorites! I just switched to Syntus and HIGHLY recommend them!!

Great bags. I've vacuum sealed hundreds of thousands of pounds in a commercial operation...these bags are high quality. If your sealing sharp corners like jerky or bone be sure to wrap area with cellophane wrap.

These seal and hold their seal just as good as the bags that came with my FoodSaver. Honestly, if I had to nit pick anything about them, it's that they don't have the little lines on the edges to more easily cut bags of the same size, but for the money saved I couldn't care less about that, and if for some reason it's ever important to have the exact same size bags I'll just use a ruler. ... show more
