I'm about to purchase these again for the 3rd time. These are really durable and easy to use. They have a 2 notches cut into the bottom half so you can tear them open without scissors. I have found that not all of the bags have the notches though. It's not consistent but it's only been a few in 200. Pros: it’s durable, and the tabs that allows you to open the bags without scissors is just amazing. Cons: they do sometimes leak when they are in my sous vide machine, but I started double sealing it, and it never leak again. It’s also possible that my sealer is very old. Always hesitated to use my food sealer cuz I would have to MAKE a bag. Ugh! I bought 200 of these, and use them for everything. I now keep my sealer on the counter and BOOM, the food is sealed and ready for fridge or freezer. Bags are huge, gallon size, so you can use them over and over and over til you have no more bag left. I use a sharpie along the sealed edge to date and identify what's inside...(that gets cut off when you upen the bag). I reuse them all the time. They clean up quickly, dish soap and hot water. If they are really messy or super greasy I just trash them and dont try to reuse them. I dont use my dishwasher very much so I can't share how they are when washed in a dishwasher. I love em. Really, really gets the air away from the food. Makes "sealing" fast & painless for me. ... show more

i have one of those machines that suck the air out of the bag. I paid so much money over the years for bags, It actually got to the point, where, I really thought, I'm not saving money, I'm just spending it somewhere else. food saver bags cost a fortune. I saw these on Amazon, they were so inexpensive, I thought they were going to never compare to the expensive ones. They are just as good, just as durable, and a whole lot less money.
