Installing was a little tricky, like all things the first time you install. I could probably install a new one in under 10 minutes. There is a little gap between the bed and the frame but I used shims to make it even. Slight dent on the rail, can't see it unless looking but it rolls fine. The seal popped the rail up too high to where the outside seal didn't seal so I left it off and I'm going to run a bead of clear silicon on the inside lip. I'm also going to get a small piece of rubber for the seal at the tailgate to seal better. Overall satisfied. ... show more

Directions were good, however after connect the Right rail is does tell you in the instructions to same for Left. Roll well. Learned first time unlocked that when you stop it rolls open.

This is a really nice cover. It did take a couple hours to install, so set aside the time and do it in the shade. I had to relocate after the cover got too hot in the sun. Fairly secure and I haven't had any water issues.

    • High quality retractable cover
I have a "Roll n Lock" on my other F-150 and I put this product better than the R & L. It took me about an hour to install it with the help of my neighbor. The fit and finish on the product is very nice, and I mean it is really nice. I like the dual locks on this unit vs my other single lock using a rod. The cover panels are high quality and not covered with some vinyl type stuff like my other unit. The instructions are a bit lacking but if you have any mechanical skills, it will all make sense when you start. (I would suggest the company make a youtube install video!!) After washing the truck, I had a few drips toward the tail gate, but to me that is super acceptable as I don't think you could ever get it 100% water tight, lets be real. Even my roll n lock leaks. The drains were easy to install and work very good. I was impressed to see a small bag of future replacement (wear) parts and the extra set of keys. For $800.00 don't hesitate to purchase this cover and jump on it before the price goes up to the $1,400.00 competitors prices. Dirk ... show more

So far so good. It looks good, works good. Reviews were so so which made me nervous spending so much on it. It arrived in perfect working order with no broken parts.
