I have an exterior motion light that seems to stay powered all day regardless of the switch. These bulbs were a power life saver. I set the bulbs to only come on if they detect motion at night (via Alexa) and now, I know if there is movement after dark. I also put one inside for late night movement. Be aware, the switch has to be on for the light to activate, so it doesn't work well on multiple sockets unless you have smart bulbs in all of them on the same switch.

I’ve got a total of nine of these in a group to light my kitchen area. It is all controlled by Google Home. Pro: warm, even light throughout the area. No problem dimming. Con: on occasion, a couple of them won’t turn on with the group, but that’s maybe 10-20% of the time, and it’s an easy fix - turn use the switch to turn them all of and then back on. I’d say they’re an excellent buy. They’re every bit as good as the more expensive options out there.

Problem adding multiples on one switch

I have different zones of can lights in my house, so I bought multiple boxes of these to set up. Every time I add multiple of these bulbs that are on ONE switch, the last smart bulb I put in kills the power to the entire series, and I can not set up or turn on. If I add a regular bulb back into the series I am able to add the rest. Thinking that would solve the problem I added all but the last and tried to add the last one in, and the power would not switch on and when I put the regular bulb back in the bulbs I already set up were offline and would not reconnect. I did this in multiple zones and had the same problem. Each section had 4 bulbs, so I do not know if you can only group a maximum of 3? But IDK what to do about the 4th, because if I have 3 smart bulbs and 1 regular, I can't control that zone without using the light switch. I'm pretty frustrating and thinking of sending these back. I've set up other smart bulbs and was hoping for some more easy integration, but these are terrible if you can't have more than 3 on a switch. Added: I returned most of these lights. They are really terrible. It seems to be true that you cannot add more than two on a single switch. The ones I did keep are constantly dropping connection and have to be reset.

Have not had them long enough to rate longevity. However, so far so good. They are still working. :-) These were a lot easier to install than some other "smart" devices we have in our home. They just flat out work. Highly recommended so far.

I'm replacing these and forgot the bulb size for my kitchen track lights, so I just looked through my order history. 4 years and 1 month of service, purchased the first week that I moved to this house. I don't have any buzzing issues but they definitely flicker when the coffee maker runs. Seems fair, same circuit unfortunately. I'll have to see if whatever replacements I get are as susceptible to high loads on the same breaker. I'm guessing yes. But why they earn 3 stars is entirely due to the fact that I have always had problems with them staying connected. My home network has evolved dramatically over the years and nothing has helped these bulbs. I now have 3 Unifi access points dedicated solely to IoT devices. These bulbs are currently on an access point 20 feet away. -48 to -55dbm. A very solid connection. They are three of the 14 devices connected to this access point which is on its own non-overlapping 2.4ghz channel. I have no neighbors. There is no interference. And all these years, though all of the home network evolution, they have been the most likely bulbs to drop connection and refuse to turn on or off. They are also the bulbs that I can see from upstairs while laying in bed, through my eyelids, so it's time they get trashed. I should be asleep right now and I'm shopping to replace them because they won't turn off and I'm done walking downstairs to flip the switch for the 500th time. I have 30+ kasa bulbs, I don't know how many govee bulbs, a dozen hues, and several other smart bulbs from brands you wouldn't have expected to produce a smart bulb (like these). Yet these... these irritating things... were just not meant to be. Whatever, thanks for four years of light, mostly when I wanted.

Easy to set up once you get the bulb in the right setup mode

Works great, setup took less than 10 minutes once I was able to get the bulbs in the right setup mode. Pay attention to the speed of the light blinking. Slow blinks are the mode I needed but the default is fast blinking.
