Description

SYLVANIA self-ballasted medium, GU24, and candelabra base Micro-Mini Twist compact fluorescent lamps are energy-saving alternatives to incandescent and halogen lamps delivering higher efficacy and longer life. Due to their reduced T2 tube diameter design, Micro-Mini Twists are the smallest CFL lamps available making them suitable for use in more luminaires. Unlike warm incandescent sources, they are available in a variety of color temperatures from warm (2700K) to daylight (6500K) choices with excellent color rendition.

A smaller bulb that packs a good punch. What I like about this in comparison to both LED and the classic size CFL is these CFL are smaller in size but still deliver the correct amount of lumens of light. This is perfect for smaller opening fixtures or ones with limited space inside. Also what I like about these when you first turn on from a cold start is they turn on at about 70% light and reach full 100% brightness in about 30 to 45 seconds. This makes all the difference allowing your eyes enough time to adjust when you wake at 2 AM and turn on the hallway light in comparison to LED with blasting 100% full instant blinding brightness, this small warm up time is perfect meanwhile still giving you about 70% to see everything you need to see. The price is also good at $10 for 8 bulbs. These bulbs are being phased out via a new law so get them now before they are gone for good. If you snooze you loose. Thank you for the larder quantity of bulbs, plus they last longer than some other brands. having the larger quantity was a blessing, it seemed that all the bulbs in the house started burning out at the same time. They are brighter than the previous bulbs, what a difference.

These are almost the perfect bulb. One of the best cfl bulbs ever made. Amazing micro size, great color quality, brightness, and near instant start! Cons. These are not enclosed rated and short cycles will hurt their lifespan. CFL bulbs need at least three minutes before being turned off or it can damage the electrodes. ... show more

I use these on my porch lights, which I leave on 24/7. Chose these because they put off a nice warm yellow light rather than a harsh white light that most other bulbs put off. The yellow light seems to attract fewer insects too.

UPDATE - I really liked these bulbs but they have an odd chemical odor that is not burning off. I have never experienced this with CFLs before. I really like the brightness of these bulbs.
