  • Good Track Boots for the Cost
Size: 10
Rock solid boots - Do yourself a favor though; DO NOT BUY THESE AND EXPECT TO RIDE THE DAY YOU GET THESE IN THE MAIL (You will need a good 2-3 days) - You will need a towel or blanket, and to slowly work the boots in. When I first got these, they're so stiff they feel like walking in a cast. No ankle movement, no wiggle - After putting a towel down in the top of the boot, and bending them at the heel until the top of the boot is flat back and forth, then wearing them around the house for a couple of days doing basic chores/tasks, I was able to work these boots to the point they are VERY comfortable, and move great. Baring the are still stiff, but in the way they're supposed to be to provide protection in the case of an accident. It takes time and effort, but as will any other quality riding / track boots. I did try to do basic motorcycle controls before and after; before I could not shift or reliably brake > after break-in, shifting is smooth, and I have enough feel on my toes to rest on the footbrake without triggering it accidentally (yes, that was an initial issue that I see someone else was having a similar issue in another review; it does get better with break-in) Past that, the quality feels great on these compared to my old ones. Well worth the price compared to the more expensive alternatives that do the same job. ... show more

  • 100% recommended.

⭐ O’Neal Men’s Motocross Boots Review These boots offer excellent protection, durable construction, and great value for the price. The four adjustable buckles keep them secure, while the reinforced sole and toe cap ensure long-lasting durability. They may feel stiff at first, but once broken in, they provide solid comfort and reliability. Highly recommended for beginners and intermediate riders looking for quality boots at an affordable price. ... show more

  • Excellent protection at a reasonable price.
Size: 8
Really impressed with these boots. I hadn't ridden since I was nearly my son's age (10). Got my old gear out to see what fit him. Boots were toast and literally falling apart. Quality of these was above and beyond better than my old ones when new. Stiff at first, but he broke them in pretty quick. Great support, inside leg shielding, metal kick plates. Not worried about burns or really any foot or lower leg injury anymore. When I can afford my own bike to ride with him, soon, hopefully, I'll look at these boots first if they have my size 100%. ... show more

  • Break them in 🐻
Size: 11
I really like the packing and O’Neal logo . I get a lot of compliments and comments on my boots . The boots fit great and comfortable; takes some practice to latch the boots, yet once you have the boots snapped I just slip them off and slip them on. Also my first ride they were a bit stiff and needed to practice muscle memory for the shifter and foot brake. ... show more

  • Inexpensive protection
Size: 11
It's inexpensive protection considering this is a boot that goes up higher than a ski boot. The snaps are convenient to get off when you are tired and sweating. They seem very durable and give me confidence if I wash out on a gravel road that the boots would protect me. The challenge is, they are also potentially dangerous. ON their maiden voyage yesterday, I really struggled to shift up and down. I found myself slowly shifting from 1>2 and it often went into N instead. I also missed shifts several times up. Down, not a problem but up is a big challenge. They are just SO SO stiff that you really struggle. Also because they are so stiff I cant place them on my rear brake and cruise along on a dual sport. The shape kinda forces them to apply constant slight pressure to the brakes. So not having my foot on the rear brake is dangerous. I tried several times to learn to quickly put them on the brakes but just kept toe bumping the brake first. I was hopeful that alot of walking around and riding would break them in. I didnt ride that much on them so far, maybe a couple of hours but I did walk around the house with them first the night before and I also took a decent walk down a path to see where it went so as to not get stuck on my bike going off into the abyss. At the end of the day, the left boot started cutting into my foot where the foot meets the leg at the arch. So not the ankle but what that area is called where the top of the foot meets your leg. I cant imagine wanting to use these honestly. I really would consider them defective for the boot cutting into the foot. I have no prior experience with MX boots fyi. So this experience may be normal but from my opinion it's unsafe, not comfortable at all, hard to use. So I'm going to break open the wallet a little further on boots and try another pair and send these back. ... show more
