Rock solid boots - Do yourself a favor though; DO NOT BUY THESE AND EXPECT TO RIDE THE DAY YOU GET THESE IN THE MAIL (You will need a good 2-3 days) - You will need a towel or blanket, and to slowly work the boots in. When I first got these, they're so stiff they feel like walking in a cast. No ankle movement, no wiggle - After putting a towel down in the top of the boot, and bending them at the heel until the top of the boot is flat back and forth, then wearing them around the house for a couple of days doing basic chores/tasks, I was able to work these boots to the point they are VERY comfortable, and move great. Baring the are still stiff, but in the way they're supposed to be to provide protection in the case of an accident. It takes time and effort, but as will any other quality riding / track boots. I did try to do basic motorcycle controls before and after; before I could not shift or reliably brake > after break-in, shifting is smooth, and I have enough feel on my toes to rest on the footbrake without triggering it accidentally (yes, that was an initial issue that I see someone else was having a similar issue in another review; it does get better with break-in) Past that, the quality feels great on these compared to my old ones. The boots feel sturdy and very high-quality. They are very adjustable and every single stripe can be adjusted to fit comfortably. The size is correct. I normally wear a size 13 shoe and a size 13 boot fits comfortable. I haven’t used them on the motorcycle yet, but I have a long 3,000 miles trip coming up and I’m looking forward to experience them. These are good boots. The boot closure latches closer to your toes are very difficult to secure. I expect them to become easier with boot usage as the material softens. Very stiff material, they do a good job of protecting your feet, shins and calves from damage if you wipe out, catch trail debris, or bounce off of things on the trails. ... show more

Pretty good. Used mink oil and boot stretch and a heat gun to break in. Left boot's strap above the ankle broke on the third wear so not happy about that, but other than that they seem to work well enough. I wear size 14

So I haven’t been able to actually ride in them yet. However I can provide some insight. If you’re in between sizes. Go ahead and get the smaller size. I wear an 11.5 usually and got a 12 because I thought having it a little big wouldn’t hurt. But when I got them and tried them on, I was tightening the straps all the way down and my foot was still moving a lot! So I returned them and got the 11s instead and these fit great! They look pretty water resistant which is good. One thing I should mention (just because I didn’t think about it) is you’ll have to probably adjust your shift lever and brake lever. I sat on my bike and I couldn’t even put my toes under the lever to shift. But I’ll just adjust it and it should be good to go. I’ll update if I have any notable comments once I actually get to test these while riding. Edit: ok so I finally got around to riding with these on. I adjusted my shift lever so I can get my toe under it to shift. I’m going to tweak with it some more because I don’t think I can get enough of my foot under. One thing I noticed was I really couldn’t feel when I was shifting due to the thickness of the boot. So I was 100% guessing the entire time. I missed a few times shifting into neutral rather than 2nd. Also it was very muddy out! I was in about ankle to high shin deep mud a lot of the time! These boots kept like 95% of the water and 100% of the mud out! Also these provided great traction when I was trying to pull my bike out of a ditch or mud. They held up incredibly well! So as long as I can figure the shifting problem out, I’ll be good to go! ... show more

I really like the packing and O’Neal logo . I get a lot of compliments and comments on my boots . The boots fit great and comfortable; takes some practice to latch the boots, yet once you have the boots snapped I just slip them off and slip them on. Also my first ride they were a bit stiff and needed to practice muscle memory for the shifter and foot brake. ... show more

So stiff I couldn't switch gears or use the back brake. Quality is great but even after wearing for awhile, I don't see how these would loosen enough to allow for any ankle flex at all. Returned it, but maybe you'll have a different experience?
