Great replacement for the stock head unit

First off I am using a 5 channel amplifier with all new speakers and wiring. This head unit was incredibly easy to install, and the difference in ease of use alone is worth the switch. It adds to the spartan interior of the Evo X, and looks like it came from the factory instead of out of place. The only complaint I have is that I do have to manually connect the Bluetooth every time I restart the car, but that is really it.

It’s a good product but for some odd reason idk why it lags some days it happens to me 2 times already. I ask for the link to update the system I ask the company to send the link and they did I updated the system with the SIM card but it looks the same and works the same

I love this radio alot it's looks way better than others I had and it make it looks like it came with my 2017 Lancer SEL. All I can say is that, this should been my first picked. The piece of this radio is so worthy. Highly Recommend this radio.

Difficult head unit. Edit(12/24/20) Garbage head unit.

Very annoying head unit. If you have patience it'll work for you. If you don't I highly suggest getting a higher end brand name unit. Edit 12/24/2020: So this head unit is absolute garbage. ZLink app is the worst app you could use to enable Apple Carplay. They need to remove that stupid app and never use it again. This head unit is NOT Apple Carplay compatible because you will spend most of your time RESETTING THE HEAD UNIT TO FACTORY SETTINGS JUST TO MAKE IT WORK. And what's worse is that you have to keep resetting it over and over and over and over and over and over and over. They should include a dongle for Apple Carplay to work instead of falsely advertising that it does use it. Because it DOESN'T. I hate ever buying this head unit and I will never buy another SYGAV head unit again. Get the brand name head units! DO NOT BUY. BUY NAME BRAND ONLY! 0/5 stars

The stereo looks amazing! I do have some issues with dust collecting behind the screen and as well with it not liking to connect back to carplay. I have to reset the unit to factory default when this happens. Also when connected to android I have Google pop up a lot thinking I'm talking to it and there's no way to turn that feature off. When this happens it dims the audio down which is annoying. Over all the unit looks good and works ok for the most part.

I've used this headunit for nearly two months and most of the time it works perfectly fine, the sound quality does suffer immediately but you can offset that drop by adjusting the built-in equalizer, which works well enough. This unit allows you to easily program the steering wheel buttons to anything you want. There's a few built-in apps, but I haven't really delved into them since Android Auto is available and is what I exclusively use. However, on a daily basis this unit will act up, disconnect the bluetooth, or completely freeze. It's unbearable and the only reason I haven't swapped back to my stock radio is because of the Android Auto. Installation REQUIRES you to butcher your OEM vent housings so that they can sort of fit, and the final fitment is quite poor. The corners at the top poke ~2mm on both sides while the middle stays flush, you'd think putting some sort of spacer at the bottom would remedy this, but then the interior trim will not stay in place if you do so. The included microphone and GPS have the weakest double-sided tape that gave up within a week without touching it (surface was cleaned properly with alcohol). For $500, this seems like a pretty good deal, and if the aforementioned issues were not present it would be. But I cannot recommend buying this when Crutchfield offers kits around the same price, sometimes less.
