This is a pretty cute double feeder. I can see where, over time, the threads on the back might weaken but I’m not sure why you would need to remove/replace it that often. I guess I mean-it won’t weaken if you don’t mess with it. Also for the people complaining about the strip across the front, it’s a piece of protective wrap-peel it off and there’s a silver strip under it. I bought this as a gift for my daughter's guinea pig and she really liked it. It created less mess and made the hay easily accessible for the guinea. It easily attaches to the cage, too. It's the perfect size.

It’s a nice little feeder. A little cheap, but the reason I’ll be returning it is because it isn’t the color of the initial photos. I like that the food and hay can be kept together in one container. It secures easily to the side of the cage. The hay can be hard to reach if it's not overflowing, but I think it will be easier for the guinea pigs to reach as they get older.
