I’ve been a Doc Marten wearer for about six years. I was wearing the same basic pair for that entire time and they were finally falling apart so bad that I knew it was time to replace them. I had been lusting after this style for like three years. I saw they were on sale, making them the same price as a regular pair, and I decided it was time to buy them. I was hesitant for a long time to buy these because I was wearing my old pair every single day and they were perfectly broken in and I didn’t know if I could handle the weight of the platform all day every day. I will say that the weight is not bad. I did get a blister on one of my heels, which is to be expected when breaking in Docs. The zippers and the laces really help hold your ankle and the shoe tight so it took me some time to get the fit just right. All that being said, these boots are so cute and comfy and I love them so much. Definitely worth the money I spent on them. Zero regrets. ... show more

I love them! All docs are a pain to break in as they’re stiff but they are super worth it. The quality itself is what makes them great. I’m able to wear them for long periods of time now that they are broke in good. They fit me good. I haven’t had any problems with zipper so far.

Probably one of if not the most worn shoe out of my collection! Super sturdy and gives lots of support, have worn these for hours on end at work and had little to no discomfort. No issues with the zipper catching or getting stuck.

I’ve wanted docs for 15+ yrs and never made the plunge — I’ve heard every nightmare story out there & frankly I’m so surprised by how much I love these boots right out of the box. I usually wear a women’s size 8.5 so I followed DMs sizing recs and ordered an 8 — perfect fit. I was prepared for them to be painfully stiff/uncomfortable but after wearing and walking in them for several hours now and they feel great. Maybe it’s bc I’m used to wearing lace-up steel toes on a daily basis but these are no different than any other new boots I’ve ever owned. I did get the docs balsam stuff to be safe & it feels great but not sure it’s even necessary. Im sure they’ll continue to break in with regular wear but if you’re holding off bc of reviews about stiffness & blisters I’d say go for it — these are so worth the price & I’m having no comfort issues whatsoever. ... show more

I am a size 7.5 and I bought these in a size 7 and they fit fine if anyone was wondering about getting a size 7 or 8 if your a half size … so far they are pretty comfortable the only thing I can see being an issue is when you walk the back of your heel does rub up against the boot so probably eventually want to invest in something so you don’t get blisters on the back of your ankle !
