I absolutely love the EcoFlow Smart Panel 3. It gives me a ton of flexibility and detailed energy data, which is already helping me get on track to lower my electricity bill and prepare my home for power outages. Being able to use it as a full main panel replacement (instead of just a sub-panel) was exactly what I wanted for a true whole‑home smart setup. The day-to-day experience has been excellent. I can monitor what each circuit is using, make smarter decisions about when to run major appliances, and I feel like I’m finally moving toward real energy independence as I add batteries to the system. Support has also been great: whenever I had questions, they responded within a day or two and actually helped resolve my issues. A couple of things to be aware of. First, do not expect installation in 7 days or less. EcoFlow appears to work through a third-party that then brings in local electricians, and that took significantly longer for me. My electrician was wonderful and excited to install a smart panel for the first time, but in hindsight I probably could have saved quite a bit of money by contacting local electricians directly. Second, if you have rooftop solar, plan ahead for CT monitoring. You will need two EcoFlow CT monitors to measure your solar production properly, and it is best to have them on hand so your electrician can install them at the same time as the Smart Panel 3. I had to reach out to EcoFlow to figure this out and ended up installing the CTs myself afterward. Now that everything is installed and running, I’m just waiting on my first set of batteries, and I feel like I’m truly on my way to energy independence with a powerful and future‑proof smart panel setup. Overall, highly, highly recommended.

I fell for all of the marketing and decided to buy this. I have an Ecoflow Delta Pro battery system which worked great with a manual transfer switch. I hoped this box would give me greater flexibility in the beach apartment where I keep those batteries given the Teri le electricity problems there. Boy was I wrong! I spent the box, $2500 for an electrician and his supplies, $400 for the breakers (they don’t come with the box) and an airplane ticket to the beach location. We installed the box and it didn’t start! Spent a whole day calling tech support. It’s not US based- it’s a group of poorly trained folks with very poor English. They promised they would have someone call me “between 24-48 hours”- all while I sat in the dark with no electricity whatsoever! In the end, I had a ticket to return home and had to leave the apartment off- no alarm system, no fridge. It’s been 3 weeks and I still can’t get a senior tech support person. Every day I call and email and try to get an appointment time with someone to help us through the install. Every day they say they will call back within 48 hours. It’s like they know they had the sale but they’re way out there in China where they are unaccountable and can get away with anything. I am not even sure why Amazon allows them to sell here with such dishonest practices. If I could uninstall it and return it I would do it in a heartbeat. Problem is that it weighs 114 lbs and I have even made holes on the wall for the cables etc. So getting rid of it will cost me thousands more. So learn from my mistake and stay away from this heap of junk. I wish I had looked at Anker or other companies who offer similar systems. They seem to have better support.

The unit is working as expected. The installation Service sucks the big one. Do not get the overpriced Installation from them. They sent me an electrician that is not registered in my country or city. I had to pull my own electric sub permit under my Owner Builder for the Solar Panels, so paid that twice. Now I’m stuck waiting on the registration to get through to be able to get my permit approved and install my Solar panel on the roof. Ecoflow stuff is good and expensive. But it works. Yes the customer Service is basically useless. Somewhere in china. Don’t buy the overpriced Insight2 Tablet. It only can run the Ecoflow App, nothing else. It is in no way displaying things any different than the phone app. I returned it with a small loss. On top of that. Ecoflow censoring reviews on their website. Negative reviews are not getting posted. No free speach in china!

I paid EcoFlow to install this last year. I’m still waiting on someone to install it and have spent the time between sending emails begging for someone to do something or even schedule a day to do it! I now have to figure out how to send this pile of junk back to them.
