Description

The patented DS-SR07 switch provides redundant activation methods for Scout light models. It features an integrated click-on/off pushbutton tail cap switch and a standard socket to accept a remote tape switch-in the case of this model, an Sr07 tape switch. SureFire remote switches for long gun weapon lights provide precise control, with no need to alter your grip on the weapon.

The switch is great. Cable feels much more robust than streamlight. A bit expensive for the item but it’s surefire. DON’T BUY FROM CHAN’s E STORE though. They sent me a cheap counterfeit and it was a different no brand momentary switch inside the surefire bag. Don’t trust that seller. They did accept my return though. Surefire products are designed and built to do a specific task without fail. I prefer a light/switch combination with only one setting, and this is my preferred brand for rugged use application. It is well made, ergonomic, and was easy to install.

    • Pressure switch doesn’t work at all
I put this on my surefire scout light as soon as the light showed up. The tail cap button works fine but the remote/pressure switch doesn’t do anything. I requested a replacement but everyday it updates and says it will be another day so I can’t tell if it was just a bad unit. They want my return to ship by the 25th but they haven’t even sent out the replacement yet. 24th of December update: The company just pushes the replacement out everyday so I cancelled the replacement and disputed the charge on my card ... show more

    • Solid Upgrade to Surefire WML
If you purchased the Surefire Mini Scout Pro (or any Surefire WML) I highly recommend this switch. It HK gives you both options for actuating the light. That’s important in case your pressure pad shorts out you’ll have the “clicker” button option. Install is plug and play. Simply remove the clicky cap that comes on every Surefire WML and screw this new cap on in its place. It takes 3 to 5 minutes to install and get your pressure pad in the appropriate position for your set up. Buy this if you’re even considering it. Do you need it? No. The original cap is fine. I purchased the DS00 tape switch tailcap to replace the standard z68 click style for my Surefire M300c after reading on manufacturers manual that it will fit all M300 and m600 series. IT WILL NOT FIT a M300c mini scout light. I tried and tried again different approach to fit the two together to no avail. I looked in the internet for help too which is not helpful at all. I ended returning this item to Amazon. This will save uuu all The trouble. The DS00 and SR07 looks solid though. I do believe they will be an awesome tool. But, there’s should be a mentioned of compatibility issues specially with m300c for buyers to be aware of prior to purchasing online. ... show more
