We bought 2 of these from AODI. One for 6yrs and and the other was for 8yrs and up. Unfortunately, we had to return the 8 yrs old and up (mine) due to the fact that the height adjust pin was not working (popping back in) and the bar fell out - very dangerous when going down hill. However, for this specific 6 yr old one. My 7 yr old daughter has been on it for about 3 times now. She loves it. It is very durable and fits her perfectly. Fun for anyone who can skate or scooter. A blast for those who can ski, surf, skateboard, snowboard, or the like (but can't due to weather, locale, or lack of cash). I enjoyed all of the above, but I'm now 68 and want simpler, reliable fun. A drift scooter is for crazy turns and tricks; not for getting places. It's best on a smooth, flat, dry, wide-open area at least half the size of a tennis court. See the videos of drift scooters in skate parks for inspiration beyond the flats. My AODI ($129 in 2022) is easy to fold, carry, lift into my van. Took 35 minutes to assemble. I used a better allen wrench than the one provided. Mine had a bad wheel bearing (noisy), but AODI customer service took care of me when I sent a recording of the noise. If you surf, ski, skate, etc. you will know enough to begin shredding soon. Others can easily learn to get moving, but need to keep it slow until you learn how to turn, drift thru turns, bail-out safely, and learn your limit. Like skiing if used on a slight incline, but wipe-outs are likely - and more painful on pavement. Don't bother with the brakes. The handbrake might cause you to face-plant 'cuz it only brakes the front wheel. The rear wheels have fender-brakes that are not very effective, and nearly impossible to use when you are hanging on for dear life 'cuz you're drifting really fast through a turn. Wear a helmet. Gloves and pads for knees and elbows might be useful one day. But if you learn your speed limit, stay on flat, dry, areas, and don't push your limits, you will have a lot of fun with very little risk. My son used his birthday money to purchase this scooter. He was loving it until the flooding lock bolt striped and one of the legs unlocked. We were unable to reconnect the bolt do to it being stripped. The seller does not have a way to be contacted through Amazon even though that is their recommended contact info. There are also no part numbers so I can’t even order a new locked bolt. I’m not at all happy that his money was wasted! ... show more

because of the special term .my son has to stay home for few months and just plays the game or watched tv.that is the most often things he did for last few months.i try to buy some thing and let he exercise. He says he loves the scooter and I bought one with two wheels before but he gets tired of it. And I checked few times online I decided to get this one .he loves it when he got it. It is easy to install for me only spent around 20 minutes to finish it.after finished my son couldn’t wait to play with it. Update on 08/01/21: Despite the "front wheel only" design which caused my accident and a broken wrist, this company tried very hard to make things right. They follow up with emails and phone calls to discuss my situation and explain how the product was designed and were willing to provide a refund after the deadline. I'm changing my rating to 3 stars for their effort in making things right. Original review on 7/20/21: The brake system designed on the scooter has potentially dangerous issues; the two back wheels brake cannot efficiently stop the moving scooter when it goes down the hill and adding the front brake will make the scooter lose balance and send you to fly over to the ground! And that's what happened to me and when I hit the ground I broke my wrist bones which leaves me with 40k surgery bills!! Please purchase this with extreme caution! ... show more
