The clearance was tight on one of the mounting lags and the threaded pivot bolt, preventing a socket from being used, a minor detail that just took a bit more time using an open-end wrench to tighten it. I have only been using them for a few days, so time will tell how long they last and how they handle the elements, but they appear well made. Now that the swings are up they work great, and installation wasn't bad at all. As a DIY'er I would have loved rec's on distance between swings and a sticker (like some other anchors offered) but those are peripheral to the fact that they're quiet and glide really nicely.

I really like how solid these hangers are but I bought them hoping they would be quiet while we were swinging and they were for the first day but after that they were squeaking louder than the metal on metal hooks I had originally. Update: I ended up taking the bolt out of it and applying wheel bearing grease to everything and it is perfectly quiet. It’s been about a month and still no squeaking. I’d highly recommend adding grease before installing. I have actually bought a second set for another swing and added grease and it’s perfect. ... show more

The brackets are easy to install and make it very easy to attach various swings and swap them out when your children want a different one. I love how quiet the are and they move smoothly.
