We have a 5 year old and baby. They love to swing on this set. My husband built it in one morning all on his own. The stain is pretty and has held up so far this summer. Some complaints we have is the anchors that hold the posts into the ground are very sharp and stick out. It makes me nervous that someone could slice their foot on it. That aspect is poor design. You can build it by yourself! If your handy and have the right tools you can get away and build most of it by yourself, you will probably need someone for about 10 minutes to finish it up. Instructions Are pretty straightforward if you could read instructions and follow directions. As you can see in your pictures one piece was chipped while building and I had problems with the end caps for the top of the bar. I actually prefer not to put the caps on it so I can see if there’s nuts or screws whatever comes loose I would be able to see it by the cap. During these Covid times as parks are being closed and playgrounds are no longer safe I believe there’s a great purchase if you have one or more kids it’s very sturdy and my five-year-old absolutely loved it and I would recommend purchasing. ... show more

I love this little swing set. Our yard isn’t very large and we wanted something easy to mow around. It comes with sturdy stakes for securing it safely into the ground so don’t order extras like amazon encourages. I don’t like the middle yellow hanging bar much. It’s okay, but not comfortable on the hands so we ordered another one to replace it. Swings are nice with a safe citing in the chain. It’s for little kids, though, like I’d say up to about 8 at the very most. It’s small and not too tall so the swing range is for smaller people. Perfect for littles, though. My 6 year old grands love it but I’m a couple years they’ll be too big for it. Perfect for putting a baby swing on it for sure. Very sturdy, but for light smaller kids under about 8 I’d say. This swing set came quickly, in great condition, and only took my husband and father-in-law 2 hours to put together. My 3 1/2 year old loves it and so do we! We haven't put the anchors in yet, another perk is that it comes with anchors specific for the set, because it's pretty sturdy and safe for now without. I would highly recommend it! (Note: we've only had it a week and a half, so not sure how it will hold up with all the weather changes, but the wood and equipment seem solid and of good quality to last for a long time.) ... show more

Great when new for first year or two, easy to build and looked great. Year three… different story. This wood does not age well at all. It rotted under the hardware. Thank God I check it. The wood splits, dries out easy, rots and decays. The hardware is great. I’m going to buy new treated wood and reuse the hardware. Don’t expect this thing to last long. Being it’s rated at 115 pounds only on the swings, kids out grow it quickly about as fast as it rots away ... show more
