I’ve now had this mattress for just under 5 years and can recommend this completely. It’s still just as comfortable as when I bought it. I tend to run hot and this does a pretty good job of not overheating me. It’s soft without being too soft. I have rotated it almost every other sheet change and it still doesn’t have any dents in it. After 12 years on a traditional spring mattress, it was time for an upgrade. My wife and I were intrigued by the bed-in-a-box craze but didn’t know how to choose the right one. The hardest part of using reviews when researching mattresses was that most were written very soon after purchase, some same day. When we’d narrow down options based on price, description and rating, we’d come across one or two bad reviews that made us second guess. I am writing this review several months after receiving our Sleepnight hybrid king and we are very satisfied. It’s a great mattress at the right price. The worst part of this mattress was that the box it came in looked like it had been thrown down many flights of stairs. If you are buying a bed based on the box it comes in, then this isn’t the one for you. If you want a good hybrid and a great night’s sleep at a fraction of the cost of the big names, this IS the one for you. We feared the sinkhole and quicksand feeling comments on many of the full foam mattresses so opted for this hybrid. As others have posted, it sleeps firm to start but settles in (and we did wait 3 days after opening to sleep on it...we experienced no bad smell as others report with boxed beds). The hybrid is the best of both worlds with the soft pillow like top then the firmer support below. Like I said, it did sleep firm early on and we did have some initial aches as our bodies adjusted and transitioned from the worn old mattress to this one...but after about a week, I realized I was having some very strange dreams thanks to the deep sleeps I was now experiencing. Another key plus is the lack of motion transfer compared to old mattress. That’s something you read a lot and probably read quickly past in these reviews but I can’t overstate what a difference this mattress has made in us not disrupting each other with any tossing or turning...or realizing a child has snuck in our bed in the middle of the night. So to recap, don’t judge a mattress by the box in comes in or by how it sleeps the first few nights. And don’t overpay either. ... show more

I am a big guy, almost 350lbs, with severe chronic back pains. I have had this bed 2 1/2 months and have mixed feelings about it. TLDR;; If you are over 250lbs, you might like this bed. Its firm enough you dont feel like you're on the box spring or floor, with a nice plush top. If you are under 250lbs, your weight isnt enough to sink at all in the bed and it will feel like a rock bed. Pros: We unboxed this around 11am, and by 10pm when I went to go to bed, it was almost fully decompressed, excepting the edges. They took almost a full 24 hours to firm up. It feels plush, and while it can be a little bit of a warm sleeper, we found that cooler-fabric bedsheets make a huge difference. All in all my back pain has decreased to a very manageable level. I can sleep on my stomach, and it not hurt my back. And for the first time in years, I enjoy laying on my back. So far, with two adults who are both very rough with furniture, and the fact this bed is on the floor, it has held up great. No sagging whatsoever, even the edges remain firm despite me sitting on them. I definitely like this bed. Cons: It took two decently strong people to carry this upstairs. I knew this was going to be an issue, seeing as we got a king size. Not really that much of a con, excepting the packaging didnt have any easy way to grip it. I cant sleep on my sides, the bed is so firm it hurts my ribcage, and I barely make a dent in this bed while I am on it. On the one hand that's awesome, but on the other hand my 145 pounds husband feels like he gets beaten up I'm his sleep. He has to practically lay on top of me to get comfortable. At my weight, I was surprised to find this to be the case. Of course, things could change over time and probably will. ... show more

I have had this mattress for roughly a year now and I can only say good things! I have always bought my mattresses in the store where i can test it out even if it was just 5 minutes so I was skeptical about blindly buying something so big and reading reviews only! So, so glad I did. My husband and I are prohibited from just sitting on the bed because when we do we instantly fall asleep. It feels just like day one! I don't know what it is about this bed but highly recommend before any big box store mattress. You will not regret!! Also I recommended this to a family member and they love it! ... show more

I purchased the king size version of this mattress in November of 2021. After over 2 years of waking up in pain, I have decided it is time to share my experience before shopping for ANOTHER new mattress. I have tried a handful of the mattresses in a box and this one is by far the heaviest of them all. No grab handles on the side combined with the weight make this beast a real chore to move around. As a side sleeper, this mattress has been terrible. I am waking up multiple times a night with shoulder pain, causing me to constantly reposition and lose sleep. Try sleeping on my back and my hips and lower back start to hurt. As other have stated, this mattress does sleep hot, but so do most foam mattresses, so that was expected. The biggest issue I have had with this mattress is the edge support. Mainly the top, or head of the mattress. I have tried 2 different bed frames and even added boards under the mattress to help with supporting the head of the mattress but nothing helps. It sags a TON. I feel like I am sleeping upside-down because my head sits so much lower than my body due to the sag. I have resorted to sleeping with 5 pillows each night, which has caused issues of its own. I'm fed up and looking for a new mattress to purchase. I have tried rotating. I have added foam toppers. I have done it all. Nothing aids this mattress from my personal experience. ... show more
