Nice product. Got it hoping it would keep gnats from my face. (good thought huh?) but it is not strong enough. It does cool with the three speeds stays on and is comfortable. It is a bit loud so is hard to hear if you are working with someone at a distance. Good if alone and no one talks to you.

He loved it! He uses it while mowing grass and other outdoor activities which helps keep him from getting heat illnesses like heatstroke and heat exhaustion (yay!) and I’m considering getting one for myself lol. A hot summer will be no match for this durable and inexpensive neck fan! Great item overall, battery lasts a while, the fan is pretty good as it puts out a nice breeze, and it didn’t break the bank like other products I’ve seen; this was ~$20 compared to ~$170 and up models. It’s very portable, you just need a way to charge it, example being if you go on vacation to a warm/hot climate area. Be prepared for a strange smell from the product though. It smelled like chemicals to give you an idea. A quick wipe down with a dry microfiber cloth did the trick to reduce the smell. A good buy indeed. ... show more

This thing is amazing. I don’t think I would have survived summer without it! The lowest setting isn’t too loud. I only had trouble hearing people on the highest setting. Great for hot flashes, cools face and neck quickly. Only complaint is that it's quite noisy, not at all "whisper quiet" as advertised. I bought this particular brand *because* it was described as "whisper quiet", but it is actually louder than my small desk fan, so that's very disappointing. If I wear it for more than 5 minutes at medium speed, when I turn it off my ears are ringing because of the loud high pitched whirring just sound a couple inches away from my ears. Works great in a pinch, but I wouldn't recommend using for long periods of time, unless you want to wear ear plugs too. ... show more
